Something I threw together in just over an hour. Only a proof of concept so the final will look a lot different, now that I know the basic plan of attack.

Thanks. Yeah, the rat mode is really crude in the mock-up. Though, I am leaning towards a more emaciated body for the rat. If anyone has any constructive criticism, don't hesitate to add.

    that'd be a perfect concept for a movie-former.

As in the wheeled look. Most of the drones in BM have the Movie-verse aesthetic. Thrust in particular.

Actually, getting a half-way decent bot AND alt-mode from this guy is tricky. There is very little carry-over from one to the other in the CG model.

One of the reasons I decided to do this guy is becuase of the morphing. I like the challenge. That's why I will be attempting BM Jetstorm after tbis. Already eyeing a VF-19 for that.

Awesome! Beast Machines is my favorite series, and for some reason Rattrap is my favorite from it. haha don't ask why I don't know. Awesome though, can't wait to see more, and yeah, his body doesn't need to be too thick, maybe just a little more near the back end there and I think he'd be good. :thumb

I posted my WIP of Rattrap just now. See what you think and let me know. BTW yours is pretty cool with the sleekness of the body and all.

I would totally love to see how you pull off jetstorm. He's a really cool character. The 2 toys don't represent him as closely as the other BM characters.

    bm

I used to have BM, after BW, as sad as the crash was, BM was uber depressing, hated the drone designs, and lack of characters, but after I got Titanium Cheetor, and looked back, I realized the designs were pretty nice.

Rattrap was one of my favs, I did not like the wheels, but they look very nice here, and the rat mode to me is fine being Weasalee, he is a robot rat hybrid, there is no reason for him to have junk in his trunk, in this BM mode, also the BM logo is cool looking.

I think Jetstorm will be quite easy to pull off.....if I accept that there may be some sacrifices to the CG model.

I was experimenting with a 1/65 Mac7 VF-19. However, it's going to have to be a complete scratch-build.......minus the Ultra class head being used.........maaaaybe.

I'm quite happy with Rattrap so far. I don't mind the 'weasly" look of the rat-mode. R-Mac69 had a pretty good thing going using the Cheetor mold.

Can anyone list the things wrong with the Rat-mode. It would be a big help so, please, tear my work down so I can build it up again! :stick:

I've been wanting to do Jetstorm from the beginning. Of course I always wanted to do Stika, Obsidian, Tankor, Noble, Siverbolt, OK I guess there weren't too many that didn't warrant a new figure or at least a makeover. When I get time I'll have to post my Thrust.

Cool. The writing for Beast Machines was regurgitated trash, but everything else about the series was great. This looks good so far, although the rat's head seems to be a little low, which looks a bit "eh" on his annorexic body.
