That tank mode is an utter mess...

 

Well, I'm not sure that the giant robot face should be showing on the back of the tank   Maybe there's some slight mistransformation going on in the video.

 

I wish PE pulled some more tricks with all the partsforming this guy does like everything else they put out. I commend them for coming up with something for his alt mode but this was definitely not their best attempt :\. The face just hanging off the back of the tank is a little ridiculous  

The robot mode is absolutely gorgeous though. I didn't realize he had so much diecast on him (which is a plus to me).

 

I'm still excited about this guy.... The vehicle mode may not be the best, but I can see it being totally cybertronian. Mine is supposed to hit my POL tomorrow! =)

Got a substandard vehicle mode, call it Cybertronian. Got a scale you are not comfy with, call it mass shifting. Got a face that sticks out in alt mode, call it mistransformation.

And yes, after thinking about it, I think I am still getting this.

 

Loving it, alt-modes 'n' all! I cannot wait to get this BadAss

 

I don't mind the "tank" mode. I personally see it more as a portable cannon, than an actual mobile weapon. A bigass gun, strapped to some sort of power generator. Not pretty, but functional.

 

All I wanted to see what the transformation into Fort Max' head...

My wallet told me to stop watching your videos and stop looking at your pics. The robot is definitely the big selling point. The tank modes are OK. I'm amazed they put rubber for the treads! It's probably a dream at this point but I hope they do the whole Fort Max at some point or at least a Scorponok counterpart.

 

That would be IINSANE!

Oh my god, what a fantastic review, wow, I really loved this one, and in all modes, just great. You said this is one of the best 3rd parties toy you ever had, or maybe the best. Can you tell me what the other best ones you have are? How do you compare Quakewave to this, who has die cast, as well as Hexatron, which I know you loved too? I don't mind partforming at all, I have PE Aranea and love her a lot, but that said, the transformation doesn't look easy / fun like Quakewave /Hex, but I don't think I honestly would transform it that often anyways, robot mode most of the time, and sometime super robot mode is where it's at.

 

Heck yea. He's very worth it.
