And his articulation is crazy good.
But the shoulder articulation with the armour is not good. Just okay

 

Enjoying the dynamic poses. Really makes me want to pick him up, but I'm also super happy with Thunder Manus.

 

Thunder manus is a great figure. But I didn't buy him before because I don't collect legends size figures to go with thunder manus's smaller prime cab. Any thunder manus thread? Would like to see more pictures of thunder manus poses

Is there a general consensus on which is "better" between this and the Jetwing version? Even if it's just looks-based.

For me I prefer godforce than jetwing because of the weapons and I didn't have an updated ginrai/jinrai before. My first optimus prime is the old original powermaster optimus prime.
But I like jetwing version too and maybe will buy it someday.
But it's just my opinion

 

Personal opinion, the colours (and paint in general) on Jetpower are more striking in Super/Combined Mode (I believe the core 'bot is the same, or very close to it). The contrast of the black, the extra blue, and the flame decals just "pop" more than Godforce does. It's almost enough to make me wish I could bring myself to buy the same basic mould twice, and at this point I still may do just that (fingers' crossed they don't decide to do a Magnus w/ correct trailer, 'cause then I'd need to at least double up).

But for now I have Godforce. It looks great, even if a little more subdued. Plus I have more of an attachment to G1 Prime than I do Bayverse, and the grey trailer/PMOP homage just works better.

I\'ve just ordered mine from the Show Z store. How good is this figure overall? 

 

Anyone care to write a brief guide to PE Optimus variants? I am lost, there are... too many. Also, what is compatible with what.

 

The very simple answer is that DX10 (Jetpower), DX10g (Godforce), DX11 (G1), and DX11b (Black) are all the same base OP mold and are cross-compatible. The first two come with a power up trailer, while the latter two do not. They are all antecedents of the PC-16 (Ginrai) toy made years ago for TR/LG PMOP/Super Ginrai, but are not compatible with the HasTak toy (they do not have a power-up head, among other things).

I just opened this. Really like it. Was lucky enough to grab both trailers separate. I have two customs planed.

 

I ordered the PE skateboard Pc16 and KBB Ultra Magnus. I’m ready to get to work. DK11 is on preorder.
