Fully combined. Base truck only comes up to just above Dai Atlas' waist line.
here you go.
Still waiting for a version of this guy in Nemesis colours. Make it so, Perfect Effect!
Should be easy, this is already heavily based off their Ginrai release that already had a black version, so wouldn't take much modifications at all. Maybe they'd make more cosmetic changes to the trailer like from Jetpower to Godforce did.
Thanks for the pic! I really appreciate it!
I’ve got a dumb question, if anyone has either siege or earthrise prime, can they tow that trailer?
I’m asking this because I’m thinking of replacing that terrible earthrise trailer with the godforce warrior repaint’s one
Don't have Earthrise Prime yet, but Siege doesn't have a trailer hitch at all, so he isn't connecting to anything. I think this mostly just connects to 5mm peg hitches?
Siege OP has a port that can be used, though is very close to the cab. We've seen many-a-fan modes using several Cogs as a trailer, and some customs. Though, as far as an actual trailer hitch, it doesn't have one. ER prime does.
Ah, you're right, that 5mm hole hidden underneath his knee covers. Pretty nearly useless for an trailer, especially one you'd hope to ever angle or swivel, but it is there. You'd probably have better luck with some sort of custom adapter for those 2 Battlemaster ports, if anything. All the custom trailer combinations I'd seen had utilized the 2 5mm holes in his smokestacks, hadn't seen any of the ones using his knee port until now!
I just got this guy over the weekend, and he is my first foray into third party good quality transformers (I got a super cheap KO devastator set that I was happy with, but hey, it was like $25). This guys is super impressive IMO. Quality seems really good. All that joints are nice and stiff. The transformation is fun and relatively smooth. There were a few parts that are pretty tight, or tight clearance that takes a few times through to get the hang of.
Being both a fan of studio series and the generation toy line this thing really hits a sweet spot for me. I just can't put him down, and have been transforming him back and forth like crazy. This figure is a bit on the pricey side verses official figures of this size, so I'm wondering if there is any weak points or things I should watch out for that I don't break? I'm already super careful with the smoke stacks, as those look like they could break with a wrong pull or twist. The actual trailer/Jetfire parts all feel super durable. They have a bit of flex so they seem like they would be hard to break.
One things I had to do day one was sand down the pegs on the forearm armor just a bit as it was very hard to get them in. So I was worried about breaking them just putting them in and out. Now it's still tights, but not scary so.
Over all this guy is great, and if I had more time I would add some pictures. I have a feeling this is a bad thing for my wallet, as I wasn't really looking into 3P figures before this. I feel like I've probably opened a can of worms that I shouldn't have, but will really enjoy nonetheless.
Glad to hear you've had a great foray into 3P collecting so far. As you said, though, it definitely isn't an easy hobby on the wallet, but given the ever-increasing prices of official releases, especially recent Masterpiece releases, 3P releases are becoming more and more of a bargain, especially in Masterpiece scale. Unfortunately, the Chug and Legends scale 3P offerings definitely don't tend to hold the same level of bargain as compared to official releases in those scales, even though they tend to feature much better engineering, quality, and amount of materials and accessories.
Also, if you haven't already, definitely recommend 2 things if you're (hopefully) planning to continue further this this fandom, 1.) check around Youtube for various reviewers, their personalities and mannerisms can vary widely, but the information, what to look for, what to avoid, and what to be mindful of are really helpful, and 2.) invest in a small assortment of precision tools (pin punches, files, screwdrivers, hobby knives, floor wax, super glue, joint grease, etc.) as repairs can be somewhat common given the smaller production sizes, unavailable returns, slow distribution, and minimal availability of items.
Welcome! You have chosen wisely on your first 3P purchase, especially if Has/Tak "Generations" scale is a place you'd like to remain.
Another, somewhat older figure in this line you might enjoy is MakeToys Battle Sentinel.
I have both this and the Godforce version. They are both phenomenal. If they come up with another remold, I will buy that too.
Given all the nice retooling they were willing to do from Jetpower to Godforce, and the fact they already have Ultra Magnus and Nemesis core Prime's available, I'm quite surprised they haven't teased an Ultra Magnus or Black Optimus variant yet. Really love how these also vibe well with the Maketoys Cross Dimensions offerings, too!
If they don't release another version soon, I may just buy another Godforce version to display in truck mode.
Took some pictures last night. Love how he looks in every mode. Working from home just the base Optimus makes a great desk bot.
I didn't know about the Godforce version. I'm not sure which one I would have gotten if I knew before hand. But I can't complain about this guys one bit! And stop posting awesome alternate versions of Prime! I've already got a TE-01 and BA MPM-04 on order from the past week!
This thing looks really good. A great way to make the trailer useful and it looks like normal, real life trailer as well. We'll done!
Even if they released Godforce version first, I still would have bought this one too. They are both fantastic.
I just bought PE-DXG.
It's so awesome!
I like to see what they can do with rodimus prime.
The potp rodimus prime was a great idea but the design was just okay and articulation is not so great. Wanna see what perfect effect can do for rodimus prime. Just a suggestion.
