Only question I have left before preordering is how tall botmode without armor is. Has anyone confirmed, or gotta wait til some expo which hopefully happens between now and march?

Judging by the photos, it seems to still be the same height as Jinrai. So it's about as tall as SS Ironhide and a head shorter than SS Megatron.

Confused. His windshield backpack looks like it only forms part of the alt mode front. No idea where his prime front goes in transformation and the combined mode has another false windshield front?

It’s like pc-16 Jinrai, the vehicle mode front is his robot mode back and his robot mode front is his vehicle mode back

I just cant get into this figure. Its like rolling up a hamburger patty and putting it inside a hot dog bun. Its being different for the sake of being different. Call him Milenial Prime.

I like the mixed G1 /movie style. The truck style is more 60's than 80's and the bot mode is a nice update to plain old G1 by adding some movie flair and color. I would be ok with losing the actual flames. Would be nice if they fixed the look of the front wheels to make them look like front wheels instead of back wheels though.

I don't understand the problem here. What's wrong with trying something a bit different?

Totally, and the Shattered Glass version

Thats kinda harsh, its not bad. If this was a milenial thing I don't think they would be into Transformers, they wouldn't get it. Thats more copies for me to buy. I totally love this figure and the idea of it. Its so cool.

I guess were not looking at "different" in the same light. I see it as PEs attempt to stay relevant to CHUG scale colectors beyond add on sets. They scored a home run with their Ginrai so now they think they can just create their own line of bizarre kind of Hasbro but not Hasbro figures. How well did that work for Fansproject? They sure were "different".

No. 7-11 just sells the materials. People combine them to be different on their own.

I dont think you quite understood my analogy when I called this thing Milenial Prime. Just the thought of mixing G1 and Bayverse (two opposing fandoms) is pure shock value. Now when you think milenials, think long beards, face tatts, pink dreadlocks, etc. Pure shock value. People do it because they want to stand out in a crowd. This Prime definitely stands out in a crowd. Just not for reasons I like. If PE went full blown G1, you would say meh. If PE went full blown Bayverse, you would say meh. Combine the two and they got everybody hooked like xanax. I guess im not buying into the hype. I love my G1 CHUG. I love my Bayverse. But by all means, keep them separated. And ive slowed down on my 3rd party purchases because Hasbro covers both pretty well lately.

but it's working for MT, MMC, PX, oh weight didn't all of PE beast figures sell out first time and go for stupid money if you can find them, wait wasn't Arenea one of their most sought after releases, PE is fine though i'm not happy with this being the next release bcuz i wanted their big convoy tease, under the right color scheme i can get behind it

Who said I dont have any? I used to be a hardcore 3rd party collector. Then Hasbro all of a sudden started giving a s**t about what collectors want and my wallet breathed a sigh of relief.

Never heard of them. But if they are specifically meant for hot dog buns, then youve defeated the purpose of my analogy. I was talking about some weirdo who rolls up a regular burger patty and shoves it in a hot dog bun for the attention he gets for being different.
