Honesty I kind of prefer the normal ginrai

 

I like it as well, and normally pick up most PE releases, but the body just looks too busy, and kinda hoping they keep the flames off of this.

Wow, I completely missed this thread! I love their Ginrai figure, and I always wanted them to make their own powermaster armor for him (since it would probably be better than the Hasbro figure).

But I already have their original Ginrai, and so far, I like his look better than this movie-verse remold. But curious to see if the armor actually has a decent alt mode!

 

They will need a Bayverse/G1 hybrid Megatron lile Prime1 Studios to go with this.

 

I’m gonna need a second sandstorm for this ... but colour me interested.

Color me VERY interested; I'm really anxious to see what the alt mode looks like. Their Jinrais are superb toys.

 

I like that it's a G1/Bayformer hybrid but leaning more on a modernized G1 take, AKA CHUG.

 

I am getting quite the collection of trailer combining primes and this one will be a nice addition!

I'm going to be very impressed if they have managed to get a credible long-nosed cab out retools of their Jinrai mold. I'll adore this in any case because I freakin' love that toy.

 

I’m not a big fan of PMOP and RotF did turn me off TF for a few years unti I played FoC, but—

In the meantime, I should probably buy a MakeToys Striker, and likely will have ample time to do so before this releases.

But, I’m legitimately pumped for a 3P Movie toy—go figure!?  

 

Looks like a mix of Primes. I see some Beast Hunters Prime is this as well.

 

G1 style Prime with bits and pieces taken from the Movieverse? Hmmmm... Could be interesting.

So it appears the Perfect effect are heading in the direction of Fansproject, transitioning from HasTak upgrades to standalone figures (I know Jinari counts but in a way he is an add on for as HasTak trailer, or he makes the HasTak an upgrade for him) good on them, I wonder if they'll wind up doing a reverse of Maketoys Battle tanker (started with the trailer for HasTak figure, eventually made their own figure for variant, end up releasing a complete separate figure + trailer) and make their own Powermaster trailer and Apex armour.

 

Well, for one they have made their own figures for a while.

The've been doing standalone figures for quite a while now.

 

^ PE-DX01 and not-Black Arachnia ought to be reissued (especially with better plastic) or be given a renewal treatment.

 

i'll keep an eye on but i'd have rather they did big convoy instead
