Mine arrived this morning. Messed with before leaving for work. These guys are tits! Awesome. Will look so damn good on shelf with Dia Battles V2. Just fiddled with for a few minutes but paint, plastic etc were rock solid. Lots of fun. Colors are great! Very Microman. Three thumbs up!

I was just checking out the origin of the Robotman/Biotron design. It was original designed by Iwakichi Ogawa for Takara. It was patented in the USA in 1976 as simply "Articulated robot assembly". The designer also designed most of the original Micronauts toys, including the 3 3/4 inch figures which would eventually lead to the design of all GI Joes of that size, and he was the designer of the Diaclone toys that would become the Powerdashers!

I am really having a blast with this figure. Even though it doesn't transform (not officially...) it's so well made and poseable and fun that it's a total joy to play with. I think PE has more up their sleeve with this too because the legs have rectangular slots on each side that serve no current purpose. Armor attachments perhaps?

I love trying to figure out alternate transformations on toys and this guy was no exception. It's not the best looking alt mode but it works for me as some kind of little maintenance vehicle. Anyway, here's a photo dump. Have fun!

Fits the cockpit just fine, Note The added head swivel

    IMG_3778.JPG

Fits in the chest fine, however it doesn't peg in at all, so it can be fiddly to get to work properly, but it can be done

    IMG_3776.JPG

And in case anyone wondered MP brain of courage fits fine into robot v2

    IMG_3803.JPG

And finally, modern microman, with robot v2

Not entirely sure what you are talking about

The thread is about this guy

    IMG_3828.JPG

If you're talking about him, he is currently a one off

If you are talking about the figure I used in the last picture, maybe? I don't use Amazon, but the one in the pic is AF-01 microman falcon, from the 2005 japanese toys r us exclusive "fan choice" 2 pack

If you give me a link to what you are talking about I can better answer your question :)

Has anyone tried to see if a Titan or Prime Master fits inside Robot V2?

They don't fit, the leg-divider in the chest-cavity blocks the TMs as they have fused lower legs and they are a bit too tall for comfort anyway. I didn't bother seeing if a folded-up TM (Ie a head) would fit, it didn't seem like there was much point.

And I would LOVE somebody to finally make a Marvel Acroyear, Rann et al that went with this guy. Seems Hasbro have their own ideas about an eventual Micros line and it probably won't be anything like what I'd be interested in from that artwork a few years back.

I'm not going to lie, I'd buy the hell out of any Diaclone-sized Microman stuff anyone wanted to make.

I also wish PE would reissue this; I only got two and want more.

Actually found this from Micronauts #23, November 1980. Biotron "transforming" himself into a "Biotronic Tank" in the Marvel Micronauts comic. This was 4 years BEFORE Transformers existed.
