Shouldn't his gun be grey? But then I guess they can't sell you a new version of the old mold then.

I cant remember if it was on here or, the fwoosh but, he said that walmart has deluxes marked unavailble for reordering/stock.

 

Glad to hear about this set, for me the gun isn't that big an issue, this will be my first set with them. Some fix for the chest plate and a new head would also get my interest.

 

Just a guess, but since they're packaging guns w/the feet they are either (a) not putting out a second set or (b) putting out a ridiculously complicated second set (something more involved than just a new head and chest plate)

 

Id bank on a Dreamwave set being awesome. Look for it in 2020, though.

I was clamoring hard for a Terrorcon set and I dunno, it's what I wanted but underwhelmed.

A purple Abominus head would have been perfect.

I mean of course I'm going to get this anyway....

 

Another weak spot of PotP Abominus is that lack of proper beastie head knees, which was pointed out in another thread, so that could also be another potential fix for PE to look at, besides the head and chest.

Okay the hands and feet sure, but recycling the Bruticus cannons is a very odd move for Perfect Effect here. Not saying it's bad, but I don't think I'll feel very inclined to use them.

Yeah...I'll pass on this set. I think white hands and feet work just as well...already had an extra PE set after getting TW Superion set. I probably would've bit if it would have included a new head though...

 

Anybody getting this not interested in keeping the hands? That's all I want from this set.

 

Upgrade kits are for people who aren't happy with what HasTak gives them in my opinion.
This set in particular is very underwhelming and shows these companies have flaws , just like HasTak

 

Will anime head gestalt of them? Or is it still worth waiting for from CrazyDevy or others?

 

Preordered. The guns are underwhelming and there\'s definitely some things they could have added on but I\'m not bothered by anything but the HasTak\'s horrible hands and feet. Plus I want it to match the rest of my combiners, so yeah. Sold.
