Hey, did anyone post this yet? But Perfect Effect uploaded a new image on Facebook, showing they are making a second add on for Titans Return Powermaster Optimus Prime/Legends LG-35 Super Ginrai. It seems to be a new cab section that can transform into a lone Optimus Prime/Ginrai. But it also seems that the PC-15 is needed for the head of the super mode, aswell as the smaller Hi-Q/Ginrai.

That is turning into one expensive chug figure. Better to wait for a real version that was built from scratch to do this, no?

 

I might dive on this, and PC-15. But if Hasbro does a God Bomber like figure, then I'll get another Powermaster Optimus Prime for that. I was also contemplating on the Renderform rifles to go with it.

 

I'm confused. If the PC 15 set is required for the head, then does the head stow in the cab in vehicle/bot mode or does it clip on like the G1 bot? I ask because the PC15 kit is designed to snap into the default cab of the HasTak release.

 

You might be right. However I'm this deep in with LG-35, PC-15 and LG-42, why stop now. It was either this or use classics optimums prime. The chance that it actually look more show accurate in bot and cab mode (than either g1 prime or stock lg-35 cab) will make it well worth their price.

I could be wrong but if you don't want PC-15, use the original LG-35 Head? Maybe it comes with one non LED?

 

No official words that it will be Compatible with LG 42 godbomber. Hold on to your pre order yet.

That's what I'm thinking. If you only want the PC-15 set, go ahead and fold up Ginrai and stick him inside the robot chest, for however much sense that makes. But if you buy the PC-16 set also, I'm guessing the new robot/cab will be designed to clip the PC-15 Ginrai onto.

Maybe they really did drop their plans to make a Hasbro PMOP-compatible Godbomber. Or put it way way waaaaaay on the backburner so they could focus on the Takara figure that most people who'd want a Godbomber would be ordering.

 

Yup, that's my guess as well.

Little Ginrai will clip onto cab Ginrai in both modes, and then the head from PC-15 will clip onto cab Ginrai when in God Ginrai mode.

That's a lotta Ginrais.  

 

If it will work with Takara's Ginrai and Godbomber I'm definitely keeping an eye with this

 

I won't be surprised that this PC 16 will only work with their own perfect effect godbomber

That said it's about time something like this happened. Hope this works on the TR Powermaster Optimus Prime version of the mold as well for those who aren't interested in Ginrai or aren't able to afford Super Ginrai.

I'm hoping to see one for Ultra Magnus too. I would be on it, but one thing to think of... If they did a separate head for Optimus Prime/Super Ginrai, they'd need to do a head for Ultra Magnus aswell.
