I got PC-16 today, and I was pretty excited. Then I noticed one of the panels on his right leg looked a bit funny. Then I found out why:

Guess I'll have to contact BBTS for a replacement. :|

Only if the Titan Master is named Miko. But I don't really see the point, since G1 "Apex Armor" only exists because Hasbro mislabeled their God Ginrai reissue as Powermaster Optimus Prime. (I would have bought an authentic PMOP reissue, but not a second Ginrai.)

There's so much I hate about the Hasbro version of Powermaster Optimus Prime.

The brownish grey plastic everywhere, the odd shaped Japanese style (or is it movie style?) Autobot Logos, the lack of painted rims, the fact that the pointy bits on his shoulders aren't red, and most of all the feet.

Your pics are fantastic. They're also helpful to your fellow boardmembers which is a big plus as well. I'll also say that I'm happy that you like your figure.

But, I personally I can't get over how bad the Hasbro version looks. Using the PE kits on the Hasbro version is like putting fancy chrome rims on a POS car. You can try to dress it up and make it look nice but, in the end it's still a POS.

I totally respect your opnion, but it's funny because, paint hues and lack of apps aside, all the things you mentioned are things I actually prefer about PMOP. I just added some deco to mine and I think he looks great. I'll post pics once I get my PC-16. Hooray for options!

I actually don't really like Hasbro's OR Takara's all that much so I settled for Hasbro's mostly because it's cheaper and also to try the PC16 compatibility. I can tell you though, PC-16 hasn't been inside more than once. I like him so much on his own. :D

Welp thanks to my fellow boardmembers, I was able to raise enough funds to pick this guy up. That's one of the many reasons these boards are so fantastic. Always people willing to help each other out. I just want to thank those who helped. You know who you are.

Also, once the PE figure gets here, I'm *thinking about* selling or trading the stock cab, chest plate, head, and headmaster from my Magnus Prime.

Right now I just want to gauge interest and see if anyone out there wants these parts for their Hasbro Powermaster Optimus Prime or to replace parts on their Takara Legends version?

Took the plunge and finally ordered from BBTS. I only have Powermaster Prime and PC-15 at present though.

If you're perhaps thinking of getting Super Ginrai, there's prolly a bunch of Magnus Primes on eBay for a lot cheaper than LG-35 Super Ginrai. $50-$60 compared to $100 and up for the Japanese version.

I actually have a LG-EX on pre-order from BBTS right now. Seems like a good option plus all the extras. God Bomber has gotten pretty pricey all by himself now right?

    "What's happen to the headmasters???"

They are lead by Optimus Prime (Ginrai)....because he is Japanese.

Also Steelcore is there because why not.

    Yeah here:

I knew Godbomber was big, but having him next to Magnus Prime (let's just call him Super Ginrai), it really shows how big. He felt somewhat larger.

    And finally we have arrived.

And with some of the leftover parts.

So the blues are a perfect match between Godbomber and Magnus Prime. The tolerances are all pretty much tight and perfect. The grey for the inner thigh pieces is perfectly matched with PC-15.

I'm amazed by this figure. Yeah to do it "right" gets a little expensive. You need to get the $100 siege of cybertron set, the $70 godbomber and probably, when all is said and done, three perfect effect sets that'll come in for about $100, but it's hard to argue with the results. The only better way to do this guy would be a dedicated Masterpiece, and I don't see that happening anytime soon.

I will say one thing, and this goes for ALL the Siege of Cybertron figures. The plastic on them seems cheaper than individual releases. It's more "bendy". It's least noticable on Magnus Prime (who does feel cheaper compared to Ultra Magnus). It's worst on Metal Hawk. It's not a show stopper at all, but I have a feeling they'd be "harder" if they saw individual releases.

    Pick up this et.

I just got this guy and it is amazing! I just can't put him down. However, there is one thing that's bugging me: the weapon storage in truck mode. On mine it just sits in there loose - like wobbly loose. I thought that was just how it was supposed to be; however, I just watched a Japanese video review and at 8:07 when the reviewer attaches the rifle there is an audible click (possibly added later on in editing), he then turns the figure upside down and still the rifle remains solidly affixed. The auto-generated subtitles are of no help at all']m when the reviewer attaches the rifle there is an audible click (possibly added later on in editing), he then turns the figure upside down and still the rifle remains solidly affixed.
