This kit most resembles the PA-02 Samurai kit in the sense that it has the weapons plus two heads. The helmets on each are identical and diecast, and the heads on each represents his normal and "Last Stand of The Wreckers" damaged faces from IDW fiction. I was confused as to why the heads were removable since there were only two heads for two helmets with one face each, but realized that it was likely because the helmets are diecast while the heads are not.

There's no comic included with this kit to add him to their canon, but it's nice that they kept this version of the mold in mind especially with them having made his rival in Warden.

The helmet is a lighter shade of blue that matches Gigatron's accents rather than the blue of his main body like the regular head does. This may be off-putting to some that are use to the symmetry in colors. Overall, it's a nice kit that really beefs him up and makes him more formidable looking, albeit not being able to help with the issue of the mold's height in comparison to Overlord scaling so gigantically to other characters in canon.

    Overall Score: 7.0/10

    Awesome pics TJ!

Quick question...does it look like this head would fit on Hasbro's double dealer? I think that mold may be a better fit..of course it probably won't transform.

Can the figure transform with the new head, or with the head on and the helmet removed? Any pics of the figure without the helmet?

As long as the head clears horizontally, then transformation should work just fine. There's plenty of vertical clearance for the head. Bludgeon's head wouldn't even have to retract, if it weren't locked to his spine.

That I'm not sure of. I can check later tonight and PM you when I do.

Yea. The figure transforms just fine with the head on. No pics with the helmet removed. The head literally ends where it touches the helmet (flat top) and has a peg in the middle. It's not like a regular head with a helmet on.

Nice pics/review TJ. I'll have a hard time picking between the two heads - while I normally don't go for the "battle damaged" look, it seems appropriate with this skeletal body.

Between this kit and the gun from Renderform, my Headrobots Skel-E-Tron upgrade kit is now obsolete.

That'd be awesome! I really love this set, but I'm not a fan of the Bludgeon/Gigatron/Megatron samurai mold. Plus, I think the blue on the helmet may match Doubledealer better.

I just took a look at my blitzwing, and no. On that head, the peg/neck is attached to the head, and this is made to go onto a peg attached to the figure.

That's too bad. I appreciate you taking the time to look into, thanks TJ!
