Taken From: http://kumastyledesigns.com/toy-reviewpictorial-perfect-effect-pa-01-super-tank-upgrade-kit/ Although the three PA kits released at the same time, this one was labeled PA-01. It is a set of guns and swords that transform the Generations GDO Voyager Megatron into a better homage to the G2 Tank Megatron toy. In reading the PE-DX-RC and Aranea comics last year, I was looking forward to the PA-02 Samurai version of this kit for Bludgeon the most, but this version has actually grown to be my favorite because of how great of a G2 homage it turns this toy into. It also looks great next to RTS Laser Prime with the Battle Tanker upgrades! Whether you import this or buy it domestically, I would rate this as a "must-have" kit if you have the Generations GDO Megatron figure because it really makes it shine on a shelf. First of all, let me thank you for the instructional assembly video you posted for all three kits. In lieu of any form of instruction, it was crucial in understanding how to properly attach the kit to all the figures! That said, I'm kinda bummed with this kit. I was looking forward to these sets for what feels like years. But having them in hand? The fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired; particularly with the katana and the rail cannon. The katana, on mine, doesn't snap snug into the tank barrel. The blade slides all the way in, but the hilt won't clip to the rim of the barrel for some reason. Even comparing to the original, the length of the blade on the PE katana is a bit shorter, so I don't think its scraping against the back of the barrel. Not sure what the issue is there, but the sword just flops around in the barrel. As for the rail cannon, I definitely need some sand paper. As is, the shoulder mount absolutely will not fit into the intended wedge in the back of Megatron's shoulder. Not sure where to start on modifying this to fit, whether I should sand down some of Megatron's shoulder, or the cannon mount. I'm thinking Megatron's shoulder -- simply because there's more plastic to work with there. ...additionally, I'm disappointed that the best solution they could hit upon to shoulder mount this cannon was depending on a thin plastic tab to wedge in between a tiny gab in the figure's shoulder. Even when sanded to fit, I can't imagine that tiny little wedge of plastic is going to hold up over long term use. There had to have been a better way to firmly attach the cannon to the figure's shoulder. Moreover, the cannon's articulated armature is quite a bit looser than I care for -- particularly when it has to support the weight of that giant cannon... All in all, all the weapons PE designed to accentuate the Bludgeon mold are gorgeous looking. There's no denying that. But even as long as it took them to finally be released; they could certainly have done with another QC pass or two.
