It is far too late to minimize...
DAAAAAMMMMNNNN!! He looks great in photos! Damn nice.
At this rate, all of the cool poses will be taken before he officially gets into our hands
Can somebody say something on the transformation? The silence is deafening.
It's 3P. The transformation will require an advanced engineering degree on rocket science to perform.
SOLD, on one condition. That they redo the head into a Cheetah head and ditch the main.
I'd be down for a Nemesis Prime or Magnus redeco, especially since I got an Ultra Mammoth recently and think a similar palette could work here.
Looks like someone ended up with a loose elbow joint. Hopefully it won't be a widespread issue for folks.
Is it bad that I am liking the Lion mode much more than the bot mode?
Anyways, gonna wait for a potential repaint, if any, before I make up my mind too.
Good to know. Will wait to see more QC/quality reports before purchasing.
Enjoy your year without the figure, then.
Wait... No dentist trophy shot?
Are there screws on the elbow joint to make it easy to just tighten it up a little? For a joint that large they could certainly have used a screw rather than a pin.
The sheaths definitely can double as cannons. Some posing photos of him in lion mode have them facing sheath forward.
I , too, also got the Guyver impression with how they had him hold his chest apart. This guy is a one man walking arsenal. In a fight he has to be a pain in the ass to deal with. Excited fotbthis figure and my Aranea I purchased. Posing those two against each other. Going to have fun with that.
Man I have to say, this figure just gets better and better. If this is their version of Lio Convoy/Leo Prime, I can't wait to see what Perfect Effect has in store for The One-Man Army himself!
From what I've seen, QC issues tend to be consistent with 3P stuff, whereas official QC stuff is usually just a one off.
Simple. The only challange is to get the lion head and the shoulder made to criss-cross perfectly so that it tabs in in the right places. Even if you dont, it is still ok and you will still be able to pose the beast mode dynamically.
The lover part of the legs are a no brainer.
I thought it would take me forever but it i simpler than it looks. Just alot of moving parts gave it an illusion of complexity.
As for the beast mode, you might want to mistransform the from legs of the lion to give it some extra articulation.
No loose joints on your sample I hope?
For a while there, I thought the transformation would simply be:
1. Let me put on my lion mask.
2. Plug in the tail to my butt.
3. Get down on all fours.
So presumably there's more to it than meets the eye?
I see what you did there
