I preordered from TFSource. Hope they get a stock soon. Call me weird, but despite having no emotional investment in BW2, I just always liked the Leo Prime aesthetic and was always underwhelmed by official figures, so I ordered him just because he looks cool.

 

Yep.. hard not to pull the trigger on this guy. real hard.
He is Zoids cool. Looks better than the animated Bw2 lion and bot.

The only thing keeping me from this is Zoids robotics (walking and what not), red LEDS and a Peter Cullen roaring sound effects even though there wasn't an english dub of the series ^^.

The larger official figure is pretty much the character, as animated as he was... and that was the problem... this fits the bill for the serious Bw2 fan and not goofy bw2.

 

Yep. The closest to a decent official toy is the Target retool of Leobreaker, but it's hampered by the mold it was retooled from. I love that PE went "Fuck it" and didn't even try to make it look like a realistic lion, just giving it a full technorganic feel. Also, love the billions of accessories he has.

That's ambitious for a company that's mostly done upgrade kits and smaller add-on figures -- hope he feels as good as he looks!

Yeah, but I'd say it's fair to say none of their previous toys even come close to this level of detail, articulation, etc.

Warden/Guardian has lots of details and articulation. I think what you're saying is that this is something new, as it's based on BeastWars...

The bike galls are fully articulated and handle quite well. And warden got nothing but praise from reviewers and people who have it.

One thing I hope reviews can explain is... what's up with his eyes. They look black. Like he has empty sockets instead of eyes.
