Five unrelated projects…

Well, I guess Warden and the Master Sword are kind of related, but each is a stand alone project.

 

Really excited for this! I'm hoping it won't need much (or any) partsforming, like most of PE's other releases. Quality will no doubt be through the roof.

 

I like the look of the prototype rather than what we're getting. It's closer to this.

 

This is so exciting! Will preorder as soon as its possible to do so.

 

facepalm, duh that would explain why Aranea, Warden, whatever the middle one is and Leo are there...

What would be awesome if the Lion mode resembled the zoids liger a bit.

 

so i've no nostalgia for leo prime and think the whole beast era was a mistake for TF as a franchise (oddly enough i love dinobots, predacons etc though). however, this being PE....whom i've been VERY impressed with i'm interesetd to see how this comes out. If nobody else has coined it yet...i'm going to call this PE's "Lannister Prime". lol

 

I actually wish they do Big Convoy first but I'm still on board with Leo, hope it comes out soon

 

I think the biggest excitement here for me is the news that we may finally be getting a Big Convoy figure that's not a shellforming mass of fiddly panels, but Lio Convoy doesn't look like anything to sneeze at either. Finally some news about a third party product that's not totally G1-derivative! And it's Beast Wars no less!

I mean it's an IDW inspired design for a Japanese Beast Wars character, but Beast Wars all the same! That's something to celebrate in my book  

And I'd like the people in this thread to remember that there's no such character as "Leo Convoy", just Lio Convoy and occasionally Leo Prime. Yes, there is a difference.

What do you think are the chances that they'll do a Magmatron someday?

Excellent, no chest flap for "the matrix".
I'm probably in the minority, but its absence is a big plus in my book.

 

I can't believe there was never a BW/Zoids crossover toyline. So much wasted potential.

 

Beast Wars was long before the Takara merger with Tomy. Also, long before Zoids were really a thing in North America.

While Hasbro did eventually get the distribution license for Zoids in the franchise's heyday, I doubt they had free reign to do whatever they wanted with it.


Also, PE's design's looking pretty damned badass, there. Very lean and athletic, very anime-inspired body form. I like the fierce angles of the faceplate, and the pronounced brow-crest. This guy just looks mean. Totally getting the inevitable Nemesis redeco as well.

I kinda hope he winds up more Deluxe-scaled, so that I'd have a Beast Prime to go against my planned Megatron custom of this guy.

 

If PE doesn't make a black version, they might as well quit making figures. Black deco=$$$$ damn near every time.

 

Can't wait for this guy, the render looks great. Since he's a beast wars figure I hope perfect effect can sneek a rub sticker on the figure somewhere, those were one of my favorite things about my old beast wars toys.

 

man that head design is really excellent, up there with WFC prime as one of my favorite prime heads. Cant wait to see the final product.

 

If it's as well done as Warden, then I'm 150% in.
