What was the problem? That I didn't like the direction this toy was going? I wasn't attacking anyone. I said this toy looks terrible and hasn't changed from the render. I stand by that. Would you like a meticulous list of the problems with it?

Or is my post just going to get deleted again?

 

I'd consider this if I had a Galvatron II to battle it on my shelf.

 

Super Lion Gundam Go!

 

I don't even care for lio convoy, but damit this thing looks good. They pretty much Gundamlized lio convoy. It's so Gundam astray-seedish. which works for me since now i can display it with either gundams or transformers .

 

Not a very TF looking toy but I dig it. I actually wish it was smaller to be in scale with the MP toys.

 

  Oh God! I love it!! I hope the price is not too too high.

With the size it's probably around $175

 

It's okay looking but not my cup of tea. I prefer the smoother look of the original and the beast mode looks too much like a Zoid, but a grayscale version would be bought on site. A nice compliment to the more organic original. Nemesis would be his cyborg doppelgänger.

 

I guess I missed whatever post you were referring to, but at least for the earlier one that's still there, you were referring to universal disdain to the renders & calling IDW designs shitty.

The former, I don't recall existing ever, so I have no idea what you're talking about, and the latter is totally subjective.

You didn't attack anyone directly (though again, didn't see whatever post it is you're referring to, so I can't speak to that), but you did more than present your own personal opinion on the toy.

The problems you have with the toy are your own, and will not necessarily be shared by everyone. If you want to go through your "meticulous list" of problems you have with it, that's up to you, but don't dare claim that those are facts, let alone expect everyone to agree and feign shock that people are liking what they're seeing.

It's still early in this project (no preorders, no colored samples for people to pick apart, no missed release dates for people to panic/be annoyed over), popular opinion and individual perspectives may change. We'll see where things go; in the meantime, maybe just be clear that you're not claiming something as fact when it's...not?

easy pass for me , looks nothing like a beats wars figure.. Looks more like a a Zoid, Razorclaw/Victory Lio mashup.. Leo Convoy is organic and robotic not just all robotic.

I must admit, the model looks far better than the renders did to me. Still not sure on the lion mode, BUT the robot mode looks far better to me.
Stiiiiiiiiiiiiill not sure on the lion head... but I've got an old liger zero whom I can work with^^ (evil laugh). I'm interested again, but I'll likely be waiting till I see some reviews before purchasing. (PLEASE don't be a partsformer...)

I will say I'm happy to see more BW era characters. BW brought in a whole new era of fans, and introduced many original characters, as well as having some wonderful plots. Here's hoping we see more of toys from this era ^^
