And how could I forget Superion? My fav is the 'bow-and-arrow' configuration

[Again, many thanks to the folks out there who thought of this stuff and posted the original pics!]

You can also mount a couple of the stock hands/feet on the sides of his thighs, to bulk him up a bit (as can be done with any of the limb bot's stock weapons).

Good use of that stuff on Rook.

Red is very similar on both I believe, but I think the Gold on PE's visor face matches Takara Superion's thighs. not to say it looks bad on Hasbro, I love my fully upgraded version!

On Hasbro it's better to keep the factory head over PE. Gold on PE head doesn't match the rest of figure and it's smaller. I am using PE hands but Hasbro Wave 4 feet, more aesthetic.

Hey guys I stripped the screw on my stock superion head trying to take it off. Is there a screw extractor that small or am I SOL? Thanks.

Absolutely. There's an ever-so-slight mismatch between the red plastic of the PE set and the painted red on Superion, really more a material difference than color, but it's totally negligible.

You could try different size screwdrivers. I've also heard a rubber band between the stripped screw and screwdriver can help. Beyond that, you'll probably need to resort to drilling the screw out, or cutting the head off. Not great solutions.

If you have a Sears nearby, you could try looking for screw extractors. I remember buying a set in store for around $10-$15 bucks a few years ago.

My review of the set. Really like it and the overall improved look, but the prices on these sets are still a little hard to swallow for me, personally.

Also, I want a gold or red eyed version with a black face! Why has no one made this yet?

There's nothing for it to grip to unfortunately. It was way too tight for the type of screwdriver I had. I think the rubber band trick is bogus though even if it did work the hole's way too small. Guess I'm just going to have to invest in precision screwdrivers and extractors.... wish companies wouldn't use Philips head screws....

Both of my PE Superion's antennaes got some paint chipped when I placed the head back inside Silverbolt. Ever since this, I decided not to put the head inside to prevent this from happening again. At least the head is easy to remove.

Can anyone recommend a specific gold paint (Tamiya perhaps?) in which I can use to fix the chipped parts?

I'll say it again, I wish a company would make additional knee/thigh pieces to use for a G1 mode, the bottom of the jet facing forward for the legs. The pieces could thicken the thighs, increase the height, and give actually knee articulation.
