Just look at this thing. Kinda' reminds me of this:

It doesn't matter if these turn into a set of guns. Those hands and feet are WAY outa' scale.

Looking forward to seeing what other upgrades will be produced by other 3rd parties.

Any sort of ankle pivot would be welcome as I tried using the vanilla limbs to no effect.

Good job to Perfect Effect for having combiner hands/feet ready for this type of occasion. Now to research on reviews of their 3P stuff....

The hands look no better or worse then the Hasbro ones in scale. As for the feet as I said earlier they are that size to make up for the gorilla arms on Superion that come down past the knees, by making his legs look longer then the arms.

Yeah, I'm hoping for ankle tilts or else I'll stick with the official stock part. Superion has such a wide stance that without tilt, it wouldn't look right.

Eventually some company should come out with bigger thighs. Hoping.

I'd buy the hands alone. Don't want those ridiculous huge feet/guns.

i finally got firefly and skydive and I tried this and I actually liked the look. so maybe they would look worse to you but until you try it or see pics you shouldn't judge. if you don't like it after that then that's fine. I was just curious and personally would have liked to have seen a pic. on a side note I got to playing with the feet/fist combo that came with them and actually they are growing on me and I may just use those after all.

I would love it to be affordable. I'm partial to robots with big oversized feet. Knowing how expensive PE stuff are, I hope this not towards $100 each set.

given the versatility with this set, i am just in awe of how PE people are able to do this time and time again.

After looking at this set again I have to say that the feet are a bit too large. The hands are great through.

I was hoping to see a 3rd party make something like these for the combiner wars figures. Now lets hope it will come in various colors.

I'm leaning toward getting the combiner wars stuff, just for the fun of it and because combiners rule, but this is a case of trying a little too hard for me. I just want some better hands and bigger feet with some ankles... I don't really want super-weapons and other display options, these are the budget figures.

Still, these look pretty great for people who want all the bells and whistles and at least prove that some upgraded combiner parts can kick these gestalts up a notch with ease.

Yeah, I don't see why they won't. They're pretty standardised hands and feet that turn into weaponry. If the CW figures weren't so much smaller than TFC gestalts, I'd say these would be nice for Uranos and Prometheus as well.

But with the "complaints" by some that these are too big, maybe PE was considering that option and came up with a size that would do dual duty for Hasbro and TFC (and possibly others). I could also see these being popular with customisers and scratch builders…
