Is this figure 100% good to go? I was just about to pull the trigger on him yesterday, but I did a little digging and found posts & comments of people saying the hinges of their Gorira start showing stress marks or even sign of cracks after multiple transformations.

 

Can't comment on the long term durability as I just got mine and really don't have time to screw around and TF my figs multiple times, but I will say he looks fucking amazing. Not as heavy or as much diecast as I thought, but still a welcomed design to my shelves.

Highly recommended!

Is there anyplace to get this guy these days? I missed the boat on this one when it came out after shelling out to complete my G1 Season 1 shelf...
Primal Prime is nice, but I'm not interested in going down that rabbit hole this year.  

 

I really like the swords but have no interest in the ape-cannons.

 

Sorry to give this a bit of a bump. But does anyone know a place that still has this guy? All my usual stomping grounds seem to be out of stock. He hit at a time that didn't really work for me and now I'm afraid I'm screwed.

 

IDK of any online retail that has him in stock ATM, but u can wait for Gorira Prime, which comes out in Nov.

Yeah I'm also hunting for him. Seems even over in the east he's super expensive. Did he sell that well?

 

I can't find one anywhere so I settled on preordering Gorira Prime as it's the closest thing now. Not a fan of the colors, but oh well...

 

Sooo Is there going to be a rerelease of this guy at all?

Is it worth it to buy for $200? I'm debating on getting one now but idk if I want to pay that price considering it seems to be $30 over the original price. =/

 

Good question, but it really depends on you if he's worth that much. I got mine for $150 shipped thanks to a coupon, but he was definitely well worth that, so knowing how much I like him and didn't know if there was another release coming, I'd probably bite at $200.

 

Ugh! This year is not good on my wallet. @.@ lol
