Because I just got my driver's learning permit with one try, and I have a reputation for totaling bicycles (7 over the summer. 2 weren't my fault). Better check up on your insurance, people!

Awesome. You should come up to Seattle and freak out driving in the rain, you know... like ALL these other people in Seattle who don't know how to drive in the rain.

I think it would be scarier if it took you multiple attempts to get your license.

Wow, really? I would think you guys would be pros at driving in the rain.

I usually like the rainy/winter season in CA, but then I remember how shitty everyone drives in it, and then I rage, FFFFUUUUU...

Considering Boeing, Microsoft, Amazon, and other companies, we get a lot of people who move here from other States for work. I blame them for being the people who can't drive in the rain. Probably untrue but I'm sticking to it.

People also give us crap because we shut down schools if there's, oh, 3 inches of snow. "Back in Chicago, we could have 2 feet of snow and I have no trouble driving." Yeah well, Chicago is flat. Seattle and Western Washington is basically nothing but a series of hills and valleys. I mean, the major sections of Seattle are named Capitol Hill, First Hill, Beacon Hill, etc.

Driving on flat ice isn't that bad. Driving on ice at an incline or decline sucks.

You have no excuse if you see the amount of snow we get here on our hills.
