Ok after watching the trailer you see something eatting the moon.. saw a video on youtube explaining how unicron is the earth or am i wrong why do i get a feeling bay is having unicron the earth like in TF Prime
All we have is something that looks planet sized and a moon that looks like our moon. But there isn't any context within the teaser trailer to say what it so we don't know if it's Unicron, a massive space ship, Cybertron forming in some sort of flash back, some McGuffin putting Cybertron back together after the events of Dark of the Moon, or if it's something fans haven't speculated yet. Right now Unicron is just a guess not a confirmation.
Well, it's because Lorenzo DiBonaventura pretty much implies it himself in a recent article and Michael Bay speaks of how he's proud that he keeps breaking the ILM Render Server (WTF???!!!!), here: ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’: 45 Things to Know about the Sequel
It's not eating the moon in the trailer... It just passes by the moon, on a very close approach. Another clip of the trailer, with a girl in a junk yard, up in the sky you can see the moon is still intact, the other object having passed it by, on the way to Earth.
This one: Regarding the antagonists of the film, it looks like we’re going to get a new villain. Di Bonaventura said it will be “A surprise, I think, as you discover who the villain is. So in that respect, that is a very different kind of Decepticon form, if you would. I think that the understanding of the mythology, as you begin to unveil it, you’ll understand just how big the jeopardy that we’re going to face is.”(www.collider.com)
It doesn't feel like a confirmation because big jeopardy doesn't necessarily mean the physical size of the robot villain. If the Fallen had succeeded with the sun harvester in Revenge of the Fallen that would have taken out all the life on Earth that didn't live near a thermal vent in the ocean. That seemed like something that was big jeopardy. Plus would Unicron really be a surprise because people have been talking about if Unicron was going to be in the movie since they first announced a live action Transformers movie would be made? The statement means Unicron is possible but between cartoons, comic books, and even the live action movies there are more big threats to the Earth out there than just Unicron.
Some people are morons. If you look more closer, it has hexagons all around it. And what planet has hexagons?
I don't think they'd have Unicron being earth because he's automatically limited in what he can do. He can't wake up, because earth would go kaboom and thats never going to happen in these stories. The most they could do would be to have some avatars ala Prime, and I can't see Bay going that route. The only story I can imagine being left with is "we better get xyz mcguffin to stop unicron before he wakes up"
