Saw Malvern Target had Voyagers in stock again, so ran out there on lunch and sure enough, a Scattershot and Onslaught. Now down to just the Scattershot, a few of the leader class Seekers, several Sky Reign limbs, and the older wave of Legends.

 

That's about what he was brand new. Nice gestalt.

So there's some other Allentown area hunters, eh? Are you all looking for Sky Lynx too?

Still annoyed at myself for passing him up the one trip I saw him at multiple stores but didn't get him, thinking he's be more widely available than he is.

 

Are all the figures in that wave shipping one-per-case? It seems like I'm finding a ton of the Speed Demon and Beetle figures.

I will say this for Ziljian, if he's buying up pegwarmers for customs, it's going to help clear the inventory. Part of the problem is that corporate buyers will not restock a shelf if the current product isn't moving.

As far as him having a bunch of Roadbusters, I saw tons of them shelfwarming a few months ago. He's an obscure character for casual fans and voyagers aren't something a parent will casually buy for a kid. Whirl had trouble moving too. For some reason Springer & Sandstorm took off pretty fast. I didn't see many Rhinox gathering dust either.

I wonder if CW would have performed better if they had dumped ALL the waves on the market together instead of this wave every 2-3 months rollout?

And what Hasbro REALLY needs is an order direct website. So you can place orders directly with the manufacturer and they can ramp up as needed. Want a price break on a dozen Prime Vehicons for troop building? I'm sure they'd be happy to spool up the line just for cases of a single character if demand warrants.

 

In theory, that sounds like an awesome idea. I can't say how well that would play out, but I'd be behind an attempt. You'd think it would get them more money too, since the rare figures wouldn't be acquiring worth on the secondary market.

Hell, even if HTS had a preorder function, instead of just "in stock"/"out of stock."

 

I could be wrong but I think the only figure in that wave that is 2 per case is Ben Reilly Spider-Man. It's just that people tend not to buy the lesser known random villains that get put in every wave.

 

Got laid off last week, so my need to sell some figures is more urgent than before. Please check out my sales thread and I'd appreciate if you could share it with friends.

Uhhh JUMP ON THAT. He goes for about $80 complete but in well-used shape on eBay. I paid $70 for my complete loose set and that was a steal. Just make sure it really is complete and check the joints and such first.

 

Ah, that would explain why I've found a ton of him. You'd think Venom, being as popular as a character as he is, would be the two-per-case figure...

 

Venom will be 2 per case in the upcoming revision wave.

On the lookout for legends Shockwave in the Beaver County area, I was going for all of Bruticus but combiner war repaint overload kicked in and I lost interest after getting brawl and swindle. Thanks in advance on any info!

 

I'll let you know if I see any Shockwaves. Have you seen any other Swindles or an Onslaught?

 

Just spotted a fresh Venom and Spider-Gwen at Oaks Target. They're in the next aisle over with the Dinotrux toys (son was having a tough time deciding on one thing).
