I like this figure. I think I will buy him. He looks more like he'd belong in the Bayformers toyline more than he would in the Generations.
It's confusing because I think Hasbro's trying to blur the line between the two.
I just get this feeling they really have no idea what they're doing.
I mean; they have a Classic/Generations-esque Seaspray and Windcharger in the ROTF toyline, and they make an obvious Bayformers Lugnut into the Generations toyline.
And then throw in 'Reveal the Shield' where ever that falls into place in whatever toyline.
I just can't shake this feeling Hasbro really has no idea what it's doing at the moment, and so the toy collector will have to decide what toyline they think best it should fall into. It's kind of bizzare in my opinion.

Hasbro knows exactly what it is doing by blurring the line...
And I think they did well with this figure.

Well how about that... color me impressed after Peaugh's excellent review. Early pics with the taller, lankier look were just all wrong and left me with no desire to get this guy. Seemed totally off for the character. But seeing him in-hand with those little adjustments made, it really completes the aesthetic and makes him feel like Lugnut. And the design really is much nicer than I expected overall. Will now get him for sure! :D

so we have had animated up-dates for lockdown and lugnut, wonder if sentinal will get the treatment,
otherwise yeah luggers looks good and can be displayed in either classics or movie line
and i personally think this colour sceme is way better than the united version.

Nice! This guy looks a million times better than the first promo shots out of China. Pretty easy purchase. The TF designers are getting closer and closer to some cool ways to do planes, the arms are brilliant on this guy.
