I think the front wheels fold up underneath his feet... looks like another fun transformation, but I reeeeally don't like the chest or the upper body design.
They do. I keep forgetting that, even though I figured it out the second time through the transformation. They actually flip all the way over and tab into the inner ankle.
I like him. Better than Skids, Mudflap, Ratchet, and Bumblebee. I'll be adding him to the collection. Along with Barricade.
I kind of like him. Looks OK. Is it me or does his torso look like an evil face? Red eyes and all....
i think thats how the backpack should look like on jolt...right..compare to his super rare ROTF CGI pics
Instead of Jolt maybe this guy could be a movie version of Blurr. I know that he hasn't been mentioned for the movie, but hey anything is possible.
Not completely sold on him yet, I think he might have to be one of those figures that I have to have in hand before I can fully decide. There's a lot of good stuff going on there such as the legs and the scissor wings, but floppy shoulders and neck and evil crotch face are putting me off. I do absolutely love the placement of those 3mm clip bars though, they're just begging to have a set of whips attached to them which is why I reckon they were put there in the first place. I'm thinking that this mould was originally intended for the back end of HFTD or RTS, but was put on hold and retooled with MT ports for DOTM.
I'm quite fond of this mold. As a member of the Followers of Jolt in Hopes He May Return I'm quite happy to are a solid fuckin toy. Not too thrilled with the color would've rather screen colors but still cool man
I'm rather pleased for the most part. However, if he is in the movie, and is gonna be his same ol blue I will be rather displeased on the lack of proper color. His bot mode definately looks better, minus the issue you mentioned with the arms not latching and his body pieces just sticking way back there on the top. Again, I like it for the most part, will probably buy.
better looking than the original except for the bland coloring... looks too pale. Did paint cost went so high that Hasbro could not afford it anymore?
The placement of the clip points is definitely where the whips should be...I mean, the gears for the whips are right there.
