    Hi all,

Just got in PE-12 Assault Force X (with bonus mini SFX!) and thought I'd snap some pics for everyone. Enjoi!

Goddamn that looks great! I might have to pick these guys up afterall. I'm more than happy with my Scouting Force X but these guys look fantastic in their own right too.

    Thanks, man! :)

Yeah, their new heads and chest pieces are awesome, and the metallic paints just pop. It really does feel like an entirely different set. I was a lil bummed that the mini has no deco, but I can't complain with it being a freebie.

I have all three too. Maybe looking to sell the Convention exclusive one.

Great pics! Mine are on their way now. I love the original purple set but the metallic paint on this set looks amazing. I never thought I could like figures so small but they have more personality and possability than most of my other figures.

My opinion will be the PE-11, the original purple one (not the convention exclusive one).

I'm actually tempted to replace my Scouting Force with these guys, but considering there's other stuff I want to buy and my Classics collection is more cartoon oriented anyway I probably won't.

Dude, just hold off then: The mini camera's going to be sold separately, and I THINK I read it was going to be below $20 even.

Awesome review, and great pics OP.

What do you want out of them? Scouting Force X is a cartoon accurate Reflector with identical 'bot modes before accessories, while Assault Force X is accurate to the G1 toy reflector.

They're both really goddamn good sets and honestly, you can't go wrong with either of them. I'm gonna end up having SFX and AFX myself.

    ^This.

Personally, I went with AFX because the camera looked more believable, and that I had a major nostalgia attack seeing the R/G/B deco. I still remember having to wait for Reflector to come in the mail way back in the day.

The main thing to know is that you won't be disappointed either way. This set has been one of the rare times that I was even more blown away by it in person than I was by the pictures.

I was put off by the small size with the first version. But I loved the G1 Reflector toy when I was a kid. Now I'm really having a hard time resisting the urge to buy this.

The stand is from a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure figure:

AmiAmi [Character & Hobby Shop] | Super Action Statue - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part.V 44. Narancia Ghirga & Aerosmith Complete Figure (Hirohiko Araki Specified Color)

This particular stand is from a character called Narancia and happens to have some different attachment points to display the little plane. All JJBA figures by Medicos come with the same stand, though.

    Thanks AlphaFool!
I just received my PE-12 and I couldn't be happier. These guys are just amazing! I was a bit surprised by the size-to-detail ratio! The paint apps are amazing, the tiny details are perfect, I could gush and gush all day. I can't decide which PE set I like better, RC or AFX...
