Given that the current five-packs of the PCCs suffer from some seriously bad quality control, and that we are already seeing a lot of re-use and re-painting even only at wave three, what does this mean for later waves of the five-packs? Will these things fall apart really quickly, and will later waves become a nightmare?

    Thanks.

I've noticed a stress mark on Bombshock's waist...just above the swivel. Same with the blue connector pegs behind the fists.

my bombshock seems fine the only flaw I see is that the Jeep drone seems a little loose but I'd say thats a design flaw not QC

I was worried, but I have absolutely no problems with any of mine. Even the Aerialbots are good and I have heard about issues users have had with those. I haven't found any stress marks on mine either. I probably won't be collecting too many repaints in this series so I'm not worried about that aspect. They are cool to play with, but from a collection standpoint not so much.

Yes. Haven't you heard? PCCs are like the Michael Bay of the Generations line.

I was going to replace mine, but I plan on using Bombshock for a custom. If the waist becomes an issue, I can always try re-engineering one. There's also that Steelshot repaint coming out. I'm only in this line for the scouts, so I won't really be buying any 5-packs. And if I do, I'll sell off the drones.

I have Bombshock, and whilst I do actually like the idea of these PCC things (they are enormous fun to play with), I don't rate their durability. You can read my lovley review over at the TF.net, if you like:

My Huffer has a little stress mark on the top of the cab, and my Searchlight has a floppy connector chest peg.

I don't think there is QC issues that any other line, it's just some people have sworn to hate it, it seems just because they dislike it.

I mean in the first reviews no one even posed then they just showed them standing static.

Also, the upcoming generations line has 3 repaitns already, though they are slight retools, they still are repaints.

These guys are great and much more poseable than the Energon combiners, hopefully if they ever do give us transformable combiner limbs in Generations, the will use the block system like the PCC.

I don't have any problems with the PCC except for Skyburst. That is more of a design issue than quality control.

My one concern is if the drones are displayed in limb mode all the time that their springs will eventually wear out. I'm afraid this might happen sooner than later as some of mine don't seem as springy when I remove them from the commanders. And I've only had them for less than a month. Displayed in limb mode almost that whole time.

None of my figures nor my son's have any QC issues. Between the two of us, we have all that have been released.

Only thing to really be worried about is how much a drain on the wallet it'll be to get the correct drones for figures.

I'm already trying to plan ahead to get a menasor with the rallybots, Superion with all planes, and balancing the Protectobots to have a more rescue/response vehicle feel.

The only problems I've had were that one of the barrells on Bombshock was bent when I opened the package from HTS.

That and just the typical loose joints that crop up randomly in any line.

I just wanted to add, they are definetly not as bad as they were made out to to be at first. As long as you are pegging things and transforming them correctly they are pretty solid figs.
