Big fat meh. The repaints look boring. The only fig I was interested in was huffer and i got him so I think I'm done with Powercore.
These figures have the opportunity to be the most repainted TF's of all time considering the staggering number of combinations they can be configured/repainted into. At least they won't all be the same character with a prefix "Night Attack" or "Off-road Attack" name tacked onto them.
I would have really enjoyed the Huffer repaint if he came with his minicon. It's pretty lame that he doesn't. Would have looked really nice in red or something... Smolder doesn't look like an Autobot at all to me and the repaint of Searchlight doesn't look very Decepticon in those colors.
Well, admittedly I'm a fan of the line, but I think some of the repaint choices are really sharp. D/L
I think the repaints are not bad. Now I can have double limbs (like double radar plane limbs on one PCC) without having to buy say, 2 sets of Aerial bots. At least they will be recolored.
I want the minicons!!! I hope the line continues so I can continue to get my minicon goodness!! Speaking of which I was able to get the new 8-pak and the 4 individuals in from China. Man those are pretty nice!. Keep them coming!! Greg
Not keen on the limbs being all mixed up on the destron and protectorbots it really spoils them as homages in my opinion. May still pick them up but im not as keen as i was before
The pcc's are compatible with any minicon with any line although not directly related they are compatible Is anyone else kinda getting an omega supreme feel from that bombshock repaint especially considering bombshocks combiner head and if you then gave him tank legs and jet arms i think you could get a pretty good homage in there.
the radar jet isn't too bad. I just hope that the repaints btwn Aerialbots + Combaticons can form 2 of each limb, not say, 3 of one version limb.
I only got Huffer and Smolder right now, but I love them both. I'll definitely grab the Smolder repaint, but I'll hold off on the Huffer one for now. The 2-pack Bombshock will also be mine.
I've had some trouble with some of my minicon ports on Armada and Cybertron figures because the inner peg is too short to activate certain gimmicks. Specifically Cybertron Menasor's arm won't activate...
