I have always liked the G2 Staxx Figure found here, Staxx - 1995 G2 Transformers - Transformers Resources But i have also thought that character needed a lot of help. So this is my version of an old forgotten bot. Name = Staxx Allegiance = Decepticon Function = Road Warrior/ Power Core Commander Quote = “Get out of my way, better yet don’t you’d make a good target!” Staxx serves Megatron, not out of devotion, but out of pure hatred for the Autobots. Staxx even hates many of his own kind. He is possibly the most self center con to walk the planet. He loves to ram right through his own team on the way to a fight scratching away his paint as he trucks along. He can also use the power core technology to combine with drones but has none of his own. Staxx has been known to knock his own team mates out so that he can steal their drones to go on a rampage. He even hates his Tri-Master Partner, Cold Cutter. The two work together because they must but each would rather turn the other to slag. Staxx also hates any other bot whose alt mode might resemble his own. It’s his goal to destroy not only Prime, but Motormaster, Huffer and Pipes as well as any other truck-bot. Staxx wants to be the only big rig and the road and has no problem making that knowledge well known to both sides. Staxx and Cold Cutter has been assigned to follow Nightwave in hunting down the Short Timers. Staxx hates that he is taking orders but figures if he will get the chance to take his anger out on the Short Timers, he can be a little patient.
When I saw "Staxx", I was thinking of the Gobot Staks. He's orange. Then I saw your link and realized I had no idea who you were making this to be. It's very fitting. Good thing to paint Huffer into. Good job.
g2 is one of my favorite lines. the new characters they came up with where pretty cool. I like the lesser know characters too alot more! like well... battletrap.
I'm not real into G2 but if Hasbro made that available I'd snatch one up in a heart beat. Really cool and an awesome idea.Keep them coming!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the positive feedback. I cant wait until you all see what im working on next. going to be unusual that is for sure.
Well, it looks like we have another winner from you. You really get better with each piece, I must say. Conceptually, this one is really strong. Also, as others have noted, your color palette is chosen well. It looks like you have some minor paint rubbing/chipping issues, but that's a pretty easy fix. Also, I'd like to note that you've really came a long way with your photos. A good gallery shows the viewers as much as possible in photos, and the easiest way to do that is to take us around the figure with as many angles as possible. You've done that well. There is some fuzziness to some of your photos, but that can be fixed with getting to know your camera better and also using Photoshop (and the Despeckle filter some). The best thing, of course, is to always get the photos as good as possible first though. Most importantly, you really continue to show the rest of us how to flat out have fun with customs and our hobby.
That works surprisingly well. If Funpub were ever to use any of the PCC molds, I could see them doing something like this.
