Mag-friggin-nificent. Minicons + combining = awesome. Based on what we've seen, there won't be a single item I skip in this line.
Not really feeling them at the moment. That actually goes for most of what hasbro has planned. More money for customs and 3rd part pieces
Why is it that every few years we seem to step backwards in designs for a little while? I'll probably end up buying a few of these guys, but these two seem a little off, ie smolder's unusually long forearms, other proportions I'm still interested, but not as thrilled about these as I am generations
Whatever my impressions are of these guys right now, my curiosity will force me to pick these up. I just wanna know what they're all about. Im waaaay more anxious for the combiner teams than these individual guys though.
I'm a bit undecided about these guys right now. If they were deluxes, they would have been bought no question...but scouts, I'm just not sure. I may pick up one or two of the two packs, Huffer is a definite, but I doubt I'll bother with the full combiner packs and will probably only cherry pick the two packs.
Liking them, but I was already sold on them back at toy fair nice to see searchlights combiner head, for some reason I'm getting a somewhat animated Ultra Magnus feel from it, maybe its just me.
...but then they would continue to make crap combiners because the consumers are buying them. It's a catch 22, really. Unless they do their research and realize that fans love combiners, but they must be worthy combiners, not crap. I'm not saying that these Power Core Combiners thing is crap, but I am hesitant to jump on that band wagon right now. The auto-transforming arm bits demonstrated at the toy fair was pretty nifty. But I fear that we are going to have a slew of vehicles completely out of scale with each other as you mix and match. Jury is still out.
I like them. I'll judge em when I see them in stores. cant wait to play with smolder. I like how the minicons arent just regular vehicles strapped to the bigger bots but are more like the 87 line as targetmasters or weapons. cant wait to fiddle with em
so far my interest level toward this PowerCore line is less than 49% from what I am seeing... It looks to me like they are some sort of energon follow up product... I have to be very careful with them... cuz' I didn't like Energon that much.. .actually only Wheeljack in that line can kind of going along with my Universe/Classics.... I sure will not buy a bunch of new stuff and eventually throwing them away to the storage bin I wouldn't want to display them... Bottom line.. these new stuff look like is for kids more but not for adult collector who like to take them out to display with battle poses....
