Hatchet and upside down Ironhide would like to welcome you to take a peek at some photos of my long postponed second wade into the custom pool Trying to mimic the window on the chest of Erector being only on one side, going to only paint one side of the torso red. The Man himself coming to visit the construction site waving at the camera! Some detail work starting getting the tail lights, bumpers, feet, and head rolling. And as a bonus a Repaint of Recon Ironhides' mellon (yeah, it's kinda dusty)
Sorry, my bad. At first glance it kinda looks like paint. Still, can't wait to see this guy finished.
Been looking at the monkey looking one with the crane arm can't go wrong with a crane arm for this piece! They have that two pack on clearance at a local walmart, will probably pick one up. The search for a trailer and crane continues.
The blue works pretty well but I use the lavender tape for the more delicate projects and areas..it still sticks but releases without the residue that the blue can sometimes leaves behind. There's a light green tape that's very gentle too. KC!! Look at you go on Erector!! Great start, can't wait to see the little guy p) completed.
Hrm, I must find where to acquire there these other colors of tape as yes the blue does leave sticky all over the daggon place sometimes
I have ran into a bit of a quandary, I just can not decide what exactly to do with the chest, my original plan did not turn out as I had hoped, and I am stuck Got the arms, legs, and the showing parts of the alt mode to my liking, but I gotta get that chest fixed up before I can start my first delving into weathering. Any design advice would be lovley.
