    Cannot upvote this this enough.

Bayonetta is on Steam now and it’s made by the same crew as Transformers Devastation.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut is a modern action cyberpunk classic.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, if you can get it for $30 or less with all its DLC (indeed it is on sale on Steam right now) is a lot of hack and slash RPG fun for not a lot of money.

Jade Empire is a BioWare rpg set in a fantasy version of China with magical martial arts. It’s a little janky cos of fixed camera but if you have a controller it’s easy to play.

Also physical copies are dead on pc. Everything is digital today.

Mass Effect is a good series
I really enjoy the Borderlands games
Minecraft is just one of those games I feel like every PC gamer has
The Dark Souls series is great
    Elder scrolls games

I need phyiscal copies as some games are either delisted from digital platforms or were never available on digital storefronts.

In general, only a few select games get physical releases on PC anymore. Transformers: Devastation and the Deadpool game were certainly not one of them.

PC games don't have the same presence in physical copies any more. If its been made in the last decade and change and no longer on a storefront, you have Buckley's of getting your hands on it.

What type of games are you looking for? Any particular franchises you like?

They're a bit older, but I loved the Knights of the Old Republic games and the Command & Conquer / Red Alert series.

    More recently

    * Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
    * Shadow of Mordor / Shadow of War
    * Pretty much anything with "Assassin's Creed" in the title
    * If you like economic strategy games, the Anno series is good
    * The Arkham series of Batman games
    * Watch_Dogs 2 (WD1 was good but the player character was a bit dull)

Yeah, I tried looking up Phyiscal versions and their "out of stock." Either they never had Phyiscal versions or they are extremely rare. It's hard to find these games due to Actvision losing the license.

Or rip music, movies, and install older/legacy software. Physical media for PC games may be dead but not having these drives in laptops especially where I work has proven to be a hindrance more often than not.

I want to add to this discussion about physical copies. The majority of physical copies I've bought in the last 10 years have all basically been a fancy box with a digital code, and that's about it. Some don't even include a disc. When I bought Skyrim in 2011, as an example, after I put the disc in, and set it up with steam, that disc became worthless. I will never have a use for it again. I can't sell it, no one else can use it now. The same is true for my copy of Saints Row 2.

They are pretty much a disc with a code, and that's it. A one time use code. I do have a lot of older games without this DRM thing, but that's all games older than 10 years. I'm doubting you're interested in Shogo, Darkened Skye, or Duke Nukem 3D. Being that they're a 20 some years old now. These games are difficult to get to run on a modern windows too.

So, I don't recommend physical copies. They're just a waste of space, and materials at this point. Unless you some how find them cheaper than the digital versions. Which is unlikely during a steam sale.
