Ive been looking around for some TF3 pictures and I've found two which have interested me.

The pole seems to be in the same position as where Patrick is standing.
Also Shia appears to be holding the same weapon.
Pretender perhaps? Or maybe im jumping the gun here..

I know his character has a collection of cars. i have a feeling the Ferrari was apart of that collection.

 

I really really hope that's not the case. I can't stand the pretender angle and i really hope he's a regular human and not a robot. Would make it so much more interesting.

 

I think most of us believe that Dempsey's character is... dare I say it... working with the Decepticons.

 

Seems possible... but I hope not. I think it was cool having the Pretender in ROTF, but they don't need to use the concept again.
Honestly, I think it'd just be cooler to have a human helping the Decepticons than another Pretender.

 

I'm thinking that maybe he's not a Pretender... but that maybe they just pull a "Dr. Arkeville" and Dempsey's character is a human given extensive cybernetic "upgrades" by the Decepticons.

i do know i've seen this through vids of Patrick & Shia during the Rooftop Rubble Scene before they kicked everyone out of streets of future filming of it:

-Patrick & Sam fighting each other on rooftop rubble
-Patrick knocks Sam out by kicking him in the face
-Patrick pulls gun out & points it at Sam when Sam is waking up
-Patrick on top of rooftop rubble looking upward while Sam is laying on street beside rooftop rubble & Rosie on top of/climbing over another section of rooftop rubble close by them in background
-Sam swinging pipe with attached concrete at Patrick/hitting CG Prop on rooftop rubble with Patrick beside camera/Patrick no where to be seen
-Sam sliding down rooftop rubble after hitting CG Prop with concrete pipe to Epps & Lennox, all 3 running away

 

wasn't it said months ago that Patrick Dempsey's Character would be a role he described as "darker" than others and "significant to the plot"?
also from what i understand...Dempsey will still participate in the film as Carly's boss, who is a race-car driver with huge collection of cars.

i kinda hope he isn't a Pretender...just an evil human allied with the Decepticons
