Didn't ravage, rumble, and lazerbeak often get deployed together as a trio by Soundwave?

 

Ravage tended to work alone doing his shadowy spying, but I could've also gone for a more short-tempered 'brother' called Savage that just liked to rip stuff up and had no time for sneaking about.

To balance the toys out so Soundwave still came with a little cassette partner he could've had a smaller 'Mini-Me' version of himself called ShortWave that changed into a small radio but could still fit in Soundwave's chest like a cassette. It could transform exactly like Rumble and Frenzy but just have boombox stickers on his back instead of cassette ones.
Then when playing children could also pretend ShortWave was Soundwave when he shrunk down in tape deck mode.

 

What about Blasters cassettes? How many does he have? I know my SDCC Blaster came with three, but wasn't there more?

 

There were 4 in the show and 6 in the Hasbro toyline if I'm right.

 

Blaster had Ramhorn, Steeljaw, Eject and Rewind...Grandslam and Raindance were the other two, I think?

 

Optimus does not eat faces. He merely keeps a collection of them in the trophy room on Diego Garcia.

 

Wasn't there a pair that combined into a taller robot?
