Was browsing the AOE IMBD page when I noticed an interview with Vice Chairman of Paramount Pictures Rob Moore who claims Transformers 5 will be most likely released in 2017 not 2016 as earlier reported. He went on to say that the 2016 release date confirmation claims were not true and nothing has been confirmed yet. Come on y'all you guys are a multi billion dollar company, get your crap together so people don't go off saying things that get innocent people's hopes up
Before it gets brought up, this has nothing to do with anything Hasbro has said in the past. Hasbro does not determine the release date of these movies. They are TOLD by Paramount.
Another three year gap is good. Incredibly sad for us to not see Transformers dominate the big screen, but good for story and quality, so they can get their thoughts together on where they're going.
I would be more okay with this if there wasn't so much buzz and excitement about it coming in 2016... because now I just feel disappointed.
Im kinda relieved, as I was afraid the 2 year gap would end up cutting the new cartoon short like Animated was (as it isnt starting until 2015).
A three year gap is better than a two year, look at ROTF -_-. LONG LIVE TF MOVIES. I hope they last longer than Star wars and Harry Potter.
Considering the fact that Disney plans on making a new Star Wars movie every year for the next 40 years starting in 2015, I don't think that's very likely Not that I wouldn't like to see that happen
Although I'm impatient and three years in between movies is a long time to me, I still think it's a good gap. More time to come up with a script and story, get the scenes right with the actors, polish the CGI, etc.
And also there's technically another Harry Potter film coming in 2016, with at least two more sometime after that.
