This isn't even worth coming up with a clever way to say "I'm not surprised" for.

Involved, that's perfectly fine. I'm eagerly awaiting the next season of The Last Ship and guess who is the executive producer.

So long as he doesn't direct, the next TF movie can still have depth.

I'm so shocked! Get the defibrillator!

Y'know, included in the theft of my collection were AoE Leader Grimlock and Optimus Prime, as well as Aversion Mode Optimus. I find myself not mourning them so much and thinking I may never replace them. Maybe Prime, but.... I have just grown so tired of the movieverse, I don't even know if I want to replace the gems like Ironhide and Brawl.

Just once, I'd like to see a Transformers film that is at least 90% about the actual Transformers and their point of view. Hell, let it take place on Cybertron or some disputed outpost for all I care.

    Yes!

I love these movies. While I'd have no problem giving another director a chance, Bay coming back means that they have a far greater chance of being just as good.

For people who enjoy them, that is. For people who don't, this is terrible news, but...I enjoy them. I want more of this great stuff and Bay coming back is the surest way to get that.

Oh ffs. I was really hoping we'd get someone new by this point. I'm not a fan of Bay and his juvenile style, and was happy to hear he wasmoving on. He's fine for big budget crap but I think we need someone with a bit more vision if we're going to have an expanded universe.

We need someone who can craft an interesting universe and place compelling characters within it. Not a guy who makes the same film over and over with the same tired tropes. I want a film about the Transformers, up front and centre, driving the plot not about a bunch if humans who are only involved in the plot because of circumstances and get the most focus because Bay and his writing Team don't trust the audience enough to connect with characters other than humans.

I want off Earth and any possible chance of Bay indulging his love for the military and American flags at sunset. I want Cybertron! I want Transformers who have more than just a gimmick for a personality.

I want decent character designs that I can see clearly without having to squint and hope I'm getting the character right. And whose design translates well to toy.

Bay is a hooker that has disliked the premise of transformers from the get go. If he was an artist he would make a movie he believed in . After aoe hopefully stores at least understand that while they can con people into seeing the movie. people don't buy those garbage assed toy designs that still clogg the toy aisles. Hasbro better not try and slip that movie shit into the generation's line again. Bay needs to be stopped!!!!!!

Shouldn't that read; "... money talks and bullshit walks."

Welp, Mikey Bay produced the TMNT movie, and it was a piece of shit TMNT movie, so by that logic, this TF5 will be to.

No thank-you Mr. Bay, for flushing it down the toilet b4 it even starts.
