Great for movie fans. Not so great for movie fans wallets. Hasbro making more money always good news for Transformers in general.

 

Damn I was hoping they would get someone talented at producing more than dumb action films if they were going to have a TCU.

 

Is the BTCU where the same explosion is shown in 3 different movies?

Just like aoe. I don't plan on seeing this, but I guess if people enjoy them, why should I care?

Well, it's a new writer so maybe people will be less harsh on Bay.

Kruegar was the real cause of the shitty scripts. People seem to miss and/or ignore that.

 

There goes my hope. Looks like More Kindergarten Potty humor, explosions and "Hot" girls that can't act.

 

In any capacity, I think it's a good thing to have Bay back. He knows a lot of what goes into making these movies even if they're not the most critically acclaimed films. I can't wait until 2017 when TF5 does hit the box office.

 

To be honest, I'd rather watch the resident evil movies, resident evil movies can be fun for the sheer awfulness (so bad it's good category) but anytime I watch a Michael bay tf movie, I just end up feeling dirty

 

lol if by hard at work you mean recycling the same tired formula while turning any adopted characters into nobodies or worse (see Hound).

Someday they'll learn but it is going to be too late.

 

To be fair... it says Michael Bay is working on "developing" the next Transformers Movie, NOT directing it... so it was always going to be likely that his production company would have him involved as a Producer on future Transformers Movies... but not necessarily Directing the next one.
(he still could be Director... if he decides as its Producer that he is the best person for the job, but this isn't an announcement that he is Directing the fifth movie)
