Are you willing to sell your centurion drone ?
I hadn’t realised the Japanese box was any different when I ordered. Looks great.
How many days did you have to wait after you got your shipping confirmation?
Box is the same. The lineart is essentially a slip on cover. ✌️
They shipped the moment it arrived in their store. Close to a week for it to arrive to me. They used DHL for posting.
So far enjoying Ratchet. Didn't take out Lifeline until the girlfriend came home. She wanted to check it out for herself lol
Thanks. I’ve been going back and forth with them over whether mine has shipped yet. Got the notice last week but the tracking number is a dud.
Yeah I got that too. Takes them a couple days before its shipped and shown on the tracker.
Listed this in my sales thread if anyone is interested.
Stay tuned. Some are hoping that once the exclusive contract window closes Hasbro will put them up again as they did with the Rainmakers, Red Wing, and Skywarp/Thundercracker (admittedly those were all Target exclusives). We can be sure Hasbro knows that there were distribution problems - the coneheads were raised in the recent Q&A - and I am sure they'd prefer to have happy fans.
Give it some time. A tracking number only means a lable was created for that package. I'll only be active once it gets into the processing facility and actually moved in the building (sorting, loading).
As far as I know DHL is working like a mother fucker right now because they're one of the few that are pulling the weight of shipping from Asia and stuff so I imagine their log of stuff is intimidating. A facility can only process so much with the workers they have on hand with pandemic restrictions.
I work at UPS and us, FedEx and DHL aren't too different when it comes to the nuts and bolts of logistics. We're all working as hard and as fast as we can while adhering to COVID guidelines.
I'm planning to do the same with my SG Ratchet, pretty much your color scheme. Got no airbrush, any advice on painting the joints so that the paint doesn't scrape too much? Also, how were you able to disassemble the shoulder and hip joints? It's not like the others where I can just knock the pins out
Hasbro really went nuts with the exclusives starting Siege, but Earthrise was pretty bad. Only Starscream was the Seeker in the mainstream line, all the van-bros are exclusives, the Netflix line was filled with significant characters like Bumblebee, Earth Mode Soundwave and Elita-1. There were so many figures of popular G1 characters that were stuck as exclusives. It seems Kingdom is a lot saner now with so far the Amazon 2-packs having significant G1 characters as exclusives (so far). All the Beast Wars exclusive figures have so far been mostly obscure characters and not automatic additions. Things can still change in the next few months but for now I think it is a boon that the G1 characters are now split to Studio Series and WFC.
Even if there is a restock of the Paradron Medics, you will have to compete with all the 3rd party scalpers infesting Amazon. They've been doing it with Kingdom with a lot of figures going from SRP to inflated prices in a day or two.
It would be nice if Amazon would reach out to all the ones they cancelled the preorders from first, before re-releasing these for what I am guessing would be an inflated price.
Am I the only one who believes or believed that when you “pre-ordered” an item that meant when it was released you would receive said pre-ordered item?
I believe it should work that way, too.
Anyone else here who painted their SG Ratchet into Earthrise (coz the main universe versions of him are a pain in the ass to get...as always)? Any advice on removing the shoulder and hip joints to paint them? And since I don't have an airbrush, any advice on making sure I paint them to be play-friendly?
Or will I have to dye those?
No airbrush? Make sure your primer and rattle cans are good. I recommend Tamiya stuff here. As far as primer goes, I've been having a ton of success with this stuff called Tamiya Fine Surface Primer. It's great stuff.
Have a well ventilated area, watch out for excessive humidity and heat. Hang or stand the parts. Spray from about 6-8 inches away, spray the paint onto the part in swiping motions. Do multiple layers instead of one thick one. You'll fuck it up and muddy any sculpted detail if you lay it on thick.
Remember that painting is largely an exercise in patience and time. Take it slow and get it right the first time, otherwise you're gonna have to strip the paint off your part and start from priming all over again.
Play friendly? Might be tough. Multiple layers of a matte varnish or gloss varnish depending on how shiny you want your project to look.
Unfortunately I think that is why I think you're never charged until it's out. There's no real contract since they didn't take your money anyway and you can always cancel anytime.
What about disassembling the hip and shoulder joints? Unlike the others, they don't seem like I can just punch the pin out normally.
Couldn't tell ya unfortunately. Haven't tried to take them down myself.
That's what I'm hoping for. Otherwise I'll be waiting years for the next version in that size.
