Can't say I disagree with Tonton's assessment of the figure. I'm glad I cancelled my pre-order for Ironhide. God, those stupid giant feet. They were too big on the Siege versions, and they're waaaay too big on these.

Oh well; the rest of the upcoming figures look amazing. Especially Warpath, Cheetor, and Black Arachnia.

 

Because hasbro never makes us buy multiple figures to get all the accessories.  

 

If ER Ratchet had a new accessory, I wouldn't mind as much (I'm the guy who bought Siege Optimus for the accessories to give to ER Optimus). But it's just a white version of what his Siege version already has, so it make me big sad  

 

Huh. As long as I can get some red on him (especially the helmet - I\'m a Red Helmet Ratchet truther) he looks fine.

A decent 3P kit would offer the following:

• A set of crawler treads that plug into the roof of the van and allow it to be a little treaded stretcher thing like the G1 toy. They fold up and can stash in the ambulance mode in the cavity made from opening the legs up.
• A piece that allows you to mount the pistol on the sled.
• Foot fillers that resemble the back of an ambulance (clear plastic \"glass\" not required, but fake door detailing, please).

And then you slap paint and reprolabels on him and you\'re good to go.

I did not jam through all 48 pages, you got me.   I just feel so stupid I didn't notice it until the SG teal toesies smacked me in the face that I had to say something. It wasn't my most clever post, but I'm sure I've done worse haha

I still think this is a very valid question (and criticism and or something that makes the figure a bit weaker in my book)....I don't get it other than it was easier, unless it is a case like Optimus Prime's gray hands....

Again, I get that he has different looks, but nearly every single figure of him has had red hands. For example, I like many others, like his red helmet (though I would have thought for this release they would go for the cartoon look, which again, has more red on his legs, hands, etc.).

 

For a good while at first, every time I checked it said it was unavailable. I thought it had sold out shortly after the announcement.

I know the game but nope, never played it. I dunno if the term is referenced in it but it must be a coincidence.

 

Are you in the USA? It was region locked on Amazon US for a few days and not deliverable outside of the states

 

Looks like he's in Chile so that's probably why he wasn't able to order it until now. As far as the US is concerned I don't believe it's ever actually sold out. It's weird that Amazon is having this issue with some of their listings... either that or it's something they've been doing on purpose.

 

I’m getting 2 of ratchet one to paint the crest red... 3party megatron head black helmet yellow light piping eyes and they could charge whatever they wanted and I’d buy 2.

 

Definitely, it's the second combat level after Harmless  .

 

I don't if this is already been pointed out but anyway ER Optimus comes with the map piece with Micron. So maybe they'll make another prime which would be annoying.

 

It would have been cool if they made ratchet's shield into a stretcher.
