If it's under $250 I'll be pleasantly surprised.

New Age is the best so far, but I really don't want electronics or gimmicks in my legends. I'll decide based on the price, but if MS announces theirs with no gimmicks I may gravitate to them. Pangu looks less poseable. Which is why New age is edging out over it right now.

If Pangu really is the DX9 downsized with some slight outer changes then the poseability should be only a little less than the NA offering, the price is the main thing holding me from getting the NA one.
I really don't need all the fancy motorized and electronics in my figures for random gimmicks I'll use maybe once.

I'd say the thing I like the least on this guy is the tracks on the back, they look too long and curved, too much like the Atari logo. Not as bad as MST, but still enough that it feels off model. The NA nails the shorter back tracks, and makes them less hollow as well.

On the other hand, I like the more substantial arm cannon / claw in bot mode vs the more dainty NA one.

Just to clear things up here, the only electronic feature that Newage has is the moving tank, equipped with a motor system that newage themselves came up with. PT OS is the one that has the light up features on both arms. I don't think the motor system is going to make a huge difference on the price of Newage's offering just like I don't think the light up feature of this OS is gonna make a difference for its price.

Yes the PT is still going to be a lot cheaper than Newage but that tends to happen when you're dealing with a KO product vs. an official product. But at the end of the day I'm glad everyone has options if they can't afford whatever Newage is going to cost. Even tho I absolutely love the way NA's OS looks, I still am pretty sure I'm on board with getting this guy as well as NA's, even tho I am pretty disappointed that they simplified the claw articulation as well as changing the way the wings look (for the worse imo).

I believe it's floating around right now overseas that the price is going to come in at 8xx rmb. If this is indeed the case, the maximum price that Newage's will be is $131.22 base price, which means we might be looking at maybe $160-180 or so when it hits stores like ShowZ and Bombusbee? Somewhere around there, which would be fine with me and I believe a pretty fair price for their offering, all things considered.

I cancelled my pre-order. The NA looks amazing, but might be expensive. There is only room for 1 Omega Supreme in my collection. So hopefully MS has a version as well, that might forgo electronics.

If pangu does a recoloring though in Guardian colors blue/purple. I might get one anyway.

I feel stupid for not having seen this thread earlier haha. Holy crap the proportions on this version are far better! What’s the price on this one?

He's looking pretty good. The wings still suck along with the claw articulation but for $80 (if this is still what he's gonna be) It's not the end of the world. I also think he may have lost the extending neck considering they didn't use it for the Pic of him looking down, so that'll be a bummer too. I still want a shrunken down DX9 so unless the materials and tolerances are complete trash then I think I'm still on board.

Okay, I'm gonna say it. Why is the tank soooo large on both? Is it the homage to the g1? Is it necessary? I just want it to fit on the track, not look like a goofy ride at a theme park.

In the end it just boils down to the fact that the tank has to be the bulk of Omega's upper body so unless you sacrifice proportions then there's just no real way to make the tank as small as it probably should be. Good ol' mass shifting. All things considered tho, I actually don't think Newage's tank size is all that bad. It's still a bit big but I think it's smaller than this one.

This is the undersized KO of DX9 Gabriel so the price will most likely be cheaper than the NA version. But this one most likely will not be as articulated as the NA. If that matters to you.

The other issue with this design is that the tank is HUGE. it spent match the size of the track or anything else. I have the original Gabriel and I find the tank is just way too big on that one. Bot mode does look great though which is why I picked it over the FT version.

Hmm the tank size doesn’t bother me too much. My only thing would be the rocket’s stumpiness, and maybe the claws not being articulated. But even then the robot mode is excellent otherwise and the rocket base still looks great. And I’d much rather pay $80 something for this than $200+ for the NA.
