this looks great and hopefully it is priced well. i wonder if this is just the old dx9 files for their mini omega.

i would like to think the elbows are in the rocket section just like the normal bot.

i am totally interested in this little bot.

I have that Bruticus, and it's a great set. It's just too early to really know for sure. But if all that rings true and this is a good price, I may be up to switching. Definitely keeping an eye on it for now.

Sounds promising, 27cm PT-02 Omega is ideal for legends line and should we expect another war .. Omega war? :)

Well this certainly has my interest. Always loved the look of Gabriel but don’t want something that huge. 27cm is way more manageable.

I'm totally in on this if it has a good price and indeed has elbows like others are saying. I feel like an update is needed for OS at this point and I'm not sure how long it'll be before we see Newage and Magic Square's take on the character. As nice as MFT's is, I just don't like the size. Plus on my copy, I have really bad elbow ratchets which I feel are destined to break on me. If I end up picking this guy up, I'll probably just pair the MFT up with my old DX9 WIP Devy since that sizing still works good. Hopefully this guy releases soon!

Based on Taobao listings that started going up today, it is set to release in Nov / Dec this year.

China Retail price is not more than ¥345.

That's roughly the same China retail price as NA Grimlock, if you want to use it as a gauge for the overseas retailers, but shipping will be a bit more since it's a bigger figure.

Hope it's solid on build quality, a Legends Omega Supreme would be great.

Anyone know how this scales next to Newage or Magic Square Devastator or Zeta's legends Superior?

Roughly the same height as MS Devastator. Maybe half a cm taller.

Since NA used to be DX9 or at least share the same designer, maybe NA didn't want to confuse customers by releasing an undersized KO under the same brand, hence a new company called Pangu Toys? Just a thought.

Maybe? I don't know, NA didn't have a problem recreating their past DX9 characters like Devastator. Making up a puppet company just to launch an USKO of their own product sounds a little too complicated. It's more their style just to reimagin the character and design a new toy.

Anyway, I will follow this toy closely. I don't know if I would buy it, I don't endorse KO's and I already own Gabriel, but... Damn, it's interesting.

been tempted by the MFT huge dragon over past couple years but never pulled the trigger. the proportions was always a tad off for me and they never did a reissue that included the revised face. once MS and NA released their combiners and they bumped up the height, that put the final nail in the coffin for MFT omega.

really looking forward to seeing what comes out of this.

The reason why I never go with MFT Omega is the same why I didn't go to DX9 Devy. DX9 Devy at that time it was not enough g1 toon accurate and not big enough. I've been waiting for this whole time for good g1 toon accurate Omega for my collection this PT-02 Omega might just be the one i want, but i'll probably wait on MST and NA Omega cuz maybe i like more their engineering and features.

Wellllll, technically.... Since this is a KO of the DX9 Omega Supreme, you could say that this is a product of the team that are now known as Newage :D  I'm pretty sure most of NA came from DX9. For example, The designer that made DX9 WIP Devy ended up making NA Devy.

But in all seriousness, I get what you mean haha. I'm sure once Magic Square and Newage get their hands on this character they're gonna knock it out of the park for sure, and me being the sucker I am, I'll end up getting both, as well as this probably depending on the quality   I love the DX9 OS but never got it, and the thought of being able to get a legends scaled DX9 OS is far too tempting for me, especially if it's for a good price.
