I only purchased 3 Palisades TF stautes anyway. They were Arcee, Wheeljack, and War Within Prime. I thought the rest looked ugly as I much perferred Hard Hero for Ravage, Bumblebee, Optimus & Megatron and all but one of the busts (Cyclonus). Still, I'm sorry to see yet another TF line go bust.

So all of Palisades Toys are being discontinued? Damn. And I have the Media Play exclusive Glow-in-the-dark Mothmonsterman and Signal Master Shake from Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Oohoohoo, I'm gonna be rich...:)  But I'm kinda sad that Palisades toys is closing. I really wanted those Invader Zim action figures. :(

I'm sad for the company, as it's rarely a good thing when one goes under like this, however I am not affected by this in the least. I've just never been in the market for TF statues (even though I have some PVCs, I don't care for them much). Never really saw the point in them.

Best of luck to them in the future, though, hope everyone involved comes out okay.

This sucks! Oh well I guess I was in the minority because I did collect this line. :thumbdown  I really don't have time to play with toys so the statues were a way for me to display my Transfandom.

Palisades was the best. I have all that Muppet stuff. And those block figures of Skully and Mulder are really fun. I was REALLY looking forward to their Planet of the Apes stuff. :(

I do hope that everyone involved with Palisades Toys comes out okay.

Oh, yeah, here's an article stating that a bunch of the company was sold to some other company. So, maybe this company will release the unreleased stuff, or maybe keep the license and make new stuff? That's just speculation though.

I hope someone picks up George Tremarco and Jeff Englerts excellent talents and puts them to use.

    A sad day.

I thought you already knew that Jeff Englert is actually one of the head design guys for a different company?

Hmm... no one's posted this yet?

    http://www.palisadestoys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1271

It's purely a "what may have been", as even if Palisades didn't close, I believe their TF license ran out in 2005.

And for the record, I'll miss Palisades too... avid collector of the Muppet line (and for that they have my eternal thanks!) and was looking forward to the Sesame Street stuff (even if just to bulk up my Muppet crowd scenes!) and I even splurged and picked up the Shockwave statue, even though the statues were a little out of my price range.

So no one can confirm or deny if Ravage will ship? I really wish I hadn't pre-ordered, no I have no idea if my credit card will be charged. :(

Don't know who you pre-ordered from but most places don't charge your card until the order is filled and shipped. You might want to email the retailer about their policies.
