Hi guys! I'm a pretty inexperienced customizer, I've mostly done repaints and the such. Well my next idea is to do a white Animated Soundwave similar to the way he is portrayed in the virtual world. So I'm having problem keeping the white looking smooth and without brush strokes showing. Any help will be appreciated!

Brush strokes? Are you using a hand-brush to paint it? Might try spray-painting it.

Yea I usually do. Is white just a bad color for it?

White is a pain in the ass to paint. It's best to use a spray or airbrush. And be sure to prime your figure with a light enough color so the white doesn't have to be coated as much.

Mmmm I did prime it, it was just a grey primer i had laying around. Ok I guess I can start all over again. Thanks! Btw how expensive would an airbrush be?

At max, you can get to white with 3 thin coats.

hit it with a silver or gray coat first, which will void out the plastic's color.
