Hey all Im wanting to paint earthrise hoists hose arm to match the rest. I normally use enamel paint but don't have the right colour. I do however have it in acrylic. Is there any difference to painting it with acrylic and could anyone offer any tips for getting a shiny / hard finish? I do have pledge but not sure how to go about using it properly

With acrylics, you need to let them paint cure for a few says for maximum quality.
Plus, add a drop of varnish to the paint and mix it in well. This will also add some strength to the application and may even give it a bit of a shine.

    Yep.
There is an actual paint-on acrylic varnish that works the same way by adding it to the paint, but if you have floor varnish then that is a LOT more value for your dollar.

This us exactly what I do.

If you're painting a car and want an extra showroom finish, paint a coat of just the Future on it.
