Apologies if this seems a bit basic. I just was'nt sure where to look.

I bought ROTF Leader Optimus Prime. He may have been the best condition one the store had but I need to fill in some of the blue flames that were scrached (lower leg) and a small blue spec on his face that needs to be silver.

It seems so perfect otherwise I was hopeing to hear a easy solution. Perhaps a recommened brand choice in paint pens? If paint pens are adequate.

    -Thank You Radicons

Well, the silver on his faceplate is and easy match of testors acrylic sliver, but blue flames on his lower legs?? I'm thinking you meant red?? If you did I used testors insignia red I believe..?? Idk I'd have to check that to be sure, but I'm like 95%. And if you did, tamiya gloss red would probably work well also. If not better. I haven't tried it yet because I need to thin moine out with some rubbing alcohol.

Edit: if you meant the blue flames on the wheel wells, then try a base of standard blue with a blue metal flake... I think that's what I used.. I combined my 2 bottles and I can't remember the name of it, but I'd try that combo on a scrap piece of plastic first.

Yeah the wheel wells have the blue flames. I wasn't specific enough.

Thanks for the valuable support OMEGAPRIME1983. Sounds brilliant.

Do acrylic paint markers fail for this kind of stuff?

I actually used a silver sharpie for a small spot on Leader Op's face and it looks fine
