I got the Powerizer Cannon off Shapeways that Fakebusker created for my TFP Megatron and I'm curious what color do I need to get for my US version of that Megatron to paint the cannon? I need to know what purple to get and that lighter almost beige color or whatever you call it, I'm rather new at painting these things and I want to match as close as possible. Thank you to anyone that can help me out

 

If you're trying to match something perfectly I'd advise you to give that idea up. It's always much easier to just repaint everything than it is to match one specific part.

As for his cannon, just grab some purple and it'll look fine. Just eyeball it and it'll work out. Or at least that's what I'd do but I'm no expert.

 

Not exact but something close to it, I have the DMY Studios upgrade kit too but one of the hands is busted so I'm thinking about putting the old arms back on and painting the cannon to match as near as possible unless I can get a replacement hand for the kit
