I remember why I love playing Lucioball goalie so much
Also, read the fine print on his "healing canister": "May contain traces of enemy tears". LOL.
Makes me super happy I got him in a box now .
So, I was worried that due to my employment situation, I was going to miss out on...basically every Overwatch event for the next two years.
Except I've quit my job for completely unrelated reasons and hightailing it back home. The fact this occurs just in time for the event - I didn't understand how loot boxes worked back then so I actually didn't get anything from the 2016 Summer Event - pleases me immensely.
i boguht 24 boxes for the first time ever and got absolutly nothing
(Well, I got zarya's and a doomfist one but nothing I really wanted from the event)
I've gotten three legendaries so far: one pile of gold, the other version of the Zarya skin I got last year, and a non-event Hanzo. I have enough gold saved up to buy one of the new legendaries, but I want to wait a bit and see how lucky I get with the new loot box system in place.
Tried out Doomfist on Total Mayhem today, and the dude is a fucking monster. Every second he has the punch ready to roll, able to two-shot every non-tank/Bastion, and he wields the mobility of the other abilities to skedaddle if things go south. Only consolation is that he gets screwed by Sombra and can't contest when using his ultimate (which actually won us the game, when the lone Doomfist tried to ult us but ended up letting us get the payload in.
Yeah, same on the gold front. Nice to know whatever I do buy I won't get as a dupe though.
Holy shit, Lucioball is so annoying. "WHAT A SAVE!" "OH WHAT A SAVE!" Is that and the replay after every score really necessary?
I feel like every time something new comes to the game you have to complain about it
Not having a go, just an observation in jest.
So everyone can see me start dancing whilst chanting: "Why are you so angry?", yes.
That's how you get tinnitus.
Played a game of Mystery Heroes yesterday where I went 13-1 as McCree (I died once in the middle, but then respawned back as McCree anyways). That earned me four gold medals and PotG. I usually don't play McCree at all, so I think that's worth something. I actually got Deadeye off 3 times that match, although it only wound up landing once due to my targets either dying or managing to find cover before I got it charged. Gonna have to learn better positioning for that.
I installed a new videocard yesterday, and it's beautiful. Went from ~45FPS on Medium settings to an unbroken 60FPS at Epic settings. I'm not sure if that helped my McCree play at all yesterday or not. With the old setup, I could get occasional micro-stutters that might have affected my aim somewhat, but they were very slight, so it might all just be in my head. Either way, it's beautiful.
Are you tired of pushing payloads? Are you bored of Pharah ignoring the point, Reinhardt charging away from the overtime or Zenyatta just not being fast enough to reach the checkpoint? Well, be tired no longer; Deathmatch is finally coming to Overwatch, and your claim of getting the most kills can finally wield some relevance.
You can play as a team and finally breath in relief knowing Genji's lust for chasing opponents across the map may actually be helpful, or you can just go into the free-for-all and vent all your team-related frustration by being a solitary force for murder.
So I really love the Junkrat buffs on the PTR, my big concern is that they'll nerf the remote mine's damage, which IMO would make the net change a nerf.
Deathmatch is way more fun than I thought it would be too.
Well, after over a year, i finally started playing. Having a hard time finding a effective way to play mei, But Zarya working out just fine, Orisa a bit odd, but neat, and Reinhardt is definitely an expert tier character.
Much as I like the leg work up there, sometimes I honestly hate having Pharahs on my team if I'm Mercy, because they always start whining at me the second I stop pocketing them and never seem to realize they should drop back down before the Soldier or McCree picks them off. I appreciate the vertical escape route from goddamn Tracers, but guess what, fly-girl, there's four other children to whom I must spoonfeed the heals, and at the end of the day, I'd rather maintain the Reinhardt who saved the team from that high noon then you who flew right into it.
Like, a patient Pharah who knows to flit back into cover whilst I go restore the tanks is a blessing, but they're far too rare for my Swiss liking.
In the meantime, I had a pretty hilarious competitive game where, after we roasted them on round 1 (one of the best D.Va games I've ever had, matter of fact), five of them quit, leaving just the poor Hanzo by himself. So, while most of the team occupied themselves with dancing around the point, I sat down with the Hanzo and exchanged quotes.
This weekend I played five Lucio Ball placement matches and I only had one match where the goalie stayed at the goal.
So far I've been getting nothing but emotes in the loot boxes.
This game really likes giving me Widowmaker skins even though Widowmaker is one of my worst characters.
