Tattoo version has arrived though the box appears to be identical to the 07 version. The outer box has T10S on it but the actual packaging has T10 same as the original.

can anyone confirm the boxes are the same?

 

If it ends up being the non tattooed version I'll take it off your hands if you're looking to get rid of it.

It's just a little pit that this figure is made to match BMB oversized (mainly) and BA Prime. No way it can scale with the more slim and accurate DLX Optimus, Starscream wasn't that massive in the movie compared to Optimus

I believe their height was approximately this

(Except that those numbers are definitely wrong, as we all know Optimus and Starscream are in the same height when Starscream is on his regular pose, with flexed knees)

 

They look wonderful to me together. They emphatise the sleak Optimus figure against the huge, large jet Starscream

 

It just gets problematic when your Megatron is the one from tlk

 

Scale-wise that's pretty accurate actually.

Starscream is labeled as 31ft, and TLK megatron is significantly smaller than he used to be, at 30ft, so him being a bit shorter than starscream is perfectly accurate actually.

 

Starscream is 31ft with full height, in his normal height Starscream is as tall as Optimus

It can be seen here. It says Starscream is taller but he's as tall as Optimus, because his knees are flexed

 

Dude, those are clearly two different pictures stitched together   Every other scale chart has Starscream as taller than Optimus, with those same heights listed.

 

So show me, bcs I have really been looking for scale charts that have Optimus besides Starscream

Good lord. OK, the image you are looking at has a different image size for decepticons and autobots, so you cannot VISUALLY compare them in that image. Look at the heights written by their heads. Starscream is 3ft taller than Optimus, because 31 is a bigger number than 28... Starscream is only the same height as OP if he squats down a LOT, which is NOT a "regular pose". There is a clear break in the image that you posted, because someone copied and pasted them next to each other.

 

Red Goblin's scale charts are epic, but not official. He gathers as much info as possible from what Hasbro/ILM/Paramount give but even then that's three different OFFICIAL sources. Even they don't always give the same info on character sizes. The one thing missing from his charts is a background grid so that you don't have to rely on a baseline for stitching different characters together. It leads to poorly altered sizes when moving one character next to another.

 

And this is literally what I'm saying. The height listed there is his max, and Starscream is not on his maximum height. Actually he never stayed in full height in any of the movies... And we've talked about it a hundred times in this thread, Starscream stands as tall as Optimus regularly. You can totally see in the image I posted his knees are already flexed

OK I give up you’re not getting what I’m saying at all. It’s fine. Starscream is always taller than Optimus when he stands. That’s all that matters.

 

Finally completed the team with the tattooed OSKO Screamer. Scales absolutely perfectly!

OK so I had no intention of getting this, but the Tattoo OSKO is on sale for $65, and I had $30 of points at showz so I got it for 35 freaking dollars! Once it arrives I'll decide if it is good enough to dethrone my 1:1 tattoo KO, which has the DNA designs forearms that I custom painted to match, and which is one of my favorite figures of all time.
