Yuuup, I already cracked and ordered a set. It's not uber G1 accurate but he looks pretty epic. It sounds like they even added ratchets on a lot of the bots, very cool! I'm still curious about TW's take but how can you argue the price for this.. I do wish they upscaled him slightly more to get the combined mode closer to 20".

 

My perception of OS would like MP-10 height wise. Or as tall as TW Constructicons when combined. Still a good price for a gift set $125 shipped despite 2" taller than original WB

 

If there's a demand I could imagine them releasing an upgrade set like they did with the OS feral Rex.

I heard there was a reissue/KO of Warbotron's Computron coming out (normal size) I can't recall if it was Machine Boy or Wu Kong who were touting the idea though - I'd kinda like their to be Machine Boy one as they might offer a quirky and interesting colour scheme.
As frankly accuracy be damned I much prefer the Blue Helicopter and purple Space shuttle and I like the yellow Hummer just as much as the normal sand colour for Swindle as it simply reminds me of the Alternators version. that he's coloured like First appearance Wolverine also amuses me somewhat too.

But yeah another option for Computron would be nice whatever the size or colour. I wonder if they had access to the CAD files Wu Kong had or if they just scanned the parts ? as there is some clear differences - quite a lot of them in fact.

I wonder what colour options they have in their mind for potential repaints - likewise Machine Boy. There was some talk of an original colour gift set from Machine Boy when the final mould comes out.

If I look at the individual figures and not the combiner I can see some merit in both G2 colours and in Valdigus/Ruination colours too.

I'm not oing to hold my breath for the sexy as heck grey camo deco Ruination colours though... even if I have a real soft spot for those.

 

As someone who has no contacts and no knowledge of where to go for something as extraordinary as this, this can be a very frustrating thread.

Check rubadubspawn's thread in the sales forum. If not I've bought from his supplier on eBay ( alexshowz ?) before for the OS feral Rex . He seems reliable. It came quickly and well packed.

Would a Ruination/Baldigus repaint require much remoulding? With Fans Hobby RiD Scourge/Black Convoy coming out, it would be perfect as they are both MP scale. Plus, Jinbao has offered two colours for Hercules and Feral Rex already.
