But with how expensive MPM-6 is, I can hope for BMB to release their own OS Ironhide upon seeing huge gap in height scale bot mode of LS-03 vs MPM-6.

Hmm seems MPM-6 Ironhide is a bit under-sized vs BMB OP in alt-mode but it's safe enough.
Rather than Topkick is bigger than Peterbilt Truck.

Yeah he is a Big boy considering that is the Black Mamba Prime. It is the Wei Jaing Oversized MPM3. Solid as a rock though.

 

Coz in the original MPM line, Camaro bee is too big in altmode in relation to MPM OP.
So if we to consider scale in both modes, the nearest would be...

Optimus Prime - BMB LS-03
Ironhide - possibly OS KO by BMB?
Ratchet - possibly OS KO by BMB?
Bumblebee - MPM-3
Jazz - MPM-9

I mean bumblebee will always be the small fella.
Of course the "ideal" scale will be compromised.
Most accounts said BB stands top aligned to OP's crotch.

Hey, I had two terrible weeks at work but I finally got some free time to transform this guy. I was new to the mpm mold and it was way harder than I thought. I had some problems getting the arms untabbed since everything was so stiff, but it seems that everything lined up ok. I'm going to return it to bot mode later and post pictures with meg ls-06. Here it is with wei jiang' evasion prime.

 

So BMB Prime rear wheels....Is everyone else's loose as all heck? I want to take apart the legs to see if I can get a screw driver in there to tighten them up. I can see inside that they are phillips head in there. Anybody do this?

 

As far as I'm concerned my wheels aren't loose, I'm just one case of course though - Best of luck tightening your wheela tho man

 

BMB is making a DOTM version of MPM-4. Capcom Kai posted an image gallery on his Instagram a few hours ago. Has anyone posted this on the threads? A bit busy, someone feel free to post the photos.



EDIT: Does this deserve its own thread? It seems to be the same as the previous modified mold except with DOTM parts.

Seems like those abs kind of stick out a bit too much.

 

Gonna have to wait for someone to do a side by side comparison. With the Bayverse primes, I can't pick out the details between movie versions really. So strange especially when compared to how nit-picky we can all be when it comes to G1.

I've bought these mostly just because they are cool big bots, but I'm a little less stressed over screen accuracy.

I think the BMB Optimus Prime goes great with the BMB Megatron! I was a bit worried about the size on BMB Megs. he's definitely a head or so taller, but doesn't look crazy out of scale.

This is a very dumb question (especially since I have all of these figures), but I was wondering, in the bayverse storyline, why has Optimus Prime's look changed? I've seen all the films but for the life of me, can't remember why he got the new look. Was the WJ M-01 Commander the first version, then the MPM/Black Mamba version next, and then The Last Knight (UT Challenger) version the latest?
