I like it, you don't think it will wear down the hinge going past that point. does it require a lot of force to pass the bump.

Thanks so much Luke! Personally I think it looks a bit better. Does it strain the plastic?

It requires some force but I didn't feel like it was ever going to break from the force. From what I can tell, no stress marks or weakening of the joint.
To be safe, one could cut the small tab off with and exacto knife with little issue.

I feel you guys on the scale thing with this guy. I am not planning on adding him to the display case, he will most likely go outside of it somewhere. I was more interested in having it on hand to marvel at the engineering of it more than anything else. It being out of scale with everything else I own keeps it from ending up with the rest.

On a side note, I'm pretty sure a while back you mentioned how he has these weird, but accurate things on the back of his knee joint, preventing a double knee bend. Did you ever cut that off, and did it work?

I love it. It had me "on the fence" to "still on the fence but I dig the fan mode headlights."

I’m fine with the upscale. Honestly there were only a few bots I was interested in and I knew the KO companies would produce more fine detailed versions at a later time.

I’m not sure if it’s a matter of WANTING To place the windows that high, it’s they are just THAT high because of the way it transforms. There is a LOT of folded panels under them window segments.

It's pretty tricky, it took me longer to figure out than I care to admit. I feel like it also makes things hold in place better. I might see if there is a wst to make the headlights tab into that placement.
I have yet to cut those but when I do I'll make sure to share if it's worth it or not.
I knew I could sway you. ;)  I too am bugged by the lack of storage for his guns in robot mode. There's a lot of good ideas in the figure, but I think all the details and accuracy got away from Black Apple. I'd love it if someone took the best from this figure and applied it to an orginal sized MPM Prime.

Bingo. Size is also another issue with me.

So many toys, so little time.

    Size is indeed showstopper.

Actual intended height for BA Prime & MPM8.

Oversized MPM8 would probably have a longer wingspan than my shoulders.

Well, seems that my order with Terry got shipped! Hopefully all goes well and I'll see him in the next couple of weeks.

Now that he's shipped, I may have to look into getting myself that KO MPM Megatron.
